Its hilarious when the uneducated and uninformed SE Fans come and try compare their slow, underspecd, weak SEs to a NOKIA S60 device.
The G900 has a slow 208mhz CPU, weak 5mp camera (proven by M-R), average sound, boring design, very little apps for its symbian UIQ3 platform, a single speaker, no 3.5mm jack, and just overall a weak device now how can u compare that to a great device like the N78 which has 369mhz CPU, A good 3.2mp camera (proven by M-R), amazing sound quality (same as N81 and N91), a sleek and beautiful design, LOADS of apps for its Symbian S60v3 platform, very well placed Dual stereo speakers, 3.5mm jack, FM transmitter, a larger battery, faster UI, better Multimedia capabilities, and in general an amazing Smartphone with an almost perfect OS for Multimedia lovers. Lol the G900 has nothing on the N78. N78 kills it.

G900 cant outdo n78. The 5mp cam and touchscreen cant compare to better battery life, fm transmitter, music quality of the n91 (which is proven to still be better than the walkman player), vga recording, a new symbian OS optimised for saving battery life, hspda, navi-wheel, wi-fi with automatic hotspot authentication, and it is cheaper.
And according to gsmarena, they were not pleased with the 5mp camera performance. The only phones that may stand a chance of beating n78 are n82 and n95 8gb.
Im still waiting for the n78. Havent seen it anywhere or heard of any other country that has it.

@ demo: don't worry - in Bulgaria it would be 450 Euro in a large mobile-retail chain, that's official but still don't have it in stock.

Hey people, do you think the NaviWheel of N78 can be as useful as iPod's touch-pad?

The g900 is really no match for the N78!! The N78 outperforms the g900 in looks and in possibilities

G900 has a crappier screen, no GPS, no FM transmitter, no 3.5g, no edge, no quadband and if the touchscreen is anything like the W960 it's going to fail

350 euro !!!!! its so expensive. 280-300 would be the real price.
with 350 euro i can buy a g900 which has a touch screen, wlan, 5mp camera, better batery life, walkman player.

                                  Hey guys..

                                  I'm reviewing the Nokia N78.

So far i've been wowed by its looks. Unlike the nokia N82.

I'll be posting about the user interface of the N78 soon. And more about it.

I invite you all to drop by my site www.migsmobile.net and help me uncover the beauty that is N78.

                                    Correction.
                                    1. The keypad only looks bad, but those who have held it say it brings no trouble.
                                    2. In terms of thickness, they are the same, but the n78 is a bit taller and the 6220 is a bit lighter.
                                    3. By the time 6220 classic comes out the n78 shall have the same price tag. (n78 is being released this month for 350 euros while 6220c is being released in the 3rd quarter for 325 euros).
The n78 and 6220 classic are meant for different kinds of people. The 6220 is obviously a camera centric device, so it comes with all the goodies like tv-out, xenon flash, vga at 30 fps etc and is meant for the mass photographers.
The n78 is an all-round handset meant for the masses. This means that all the basics (e.g. Good battery life, ease of use, OS stability) are addressed properly, then the goodies are thrown in and balanced to a good level. This shall therefore produce a very balanced handset.
Both phones had to miss out on a few items. 6220 has no wi-fi, smaller battery, smaller screen, low quality music player, 2.5mm jack. But is still manages to bring the imaging capabilities of the n82 to the mass market.
The n78 has no 5mp camera, no tv-out and no vga at 30fps, but it brings in many more capabilities like fm transmitter, improved battery life, better music player, n-gage, navi wheel, 3.5mm jack, wi-fi, large screen, e.t.c.
Personally i would go for the n78 because it is more balanced. I would get 6220c for my mum because she loves taking pictures. Either way, im sure both handsets have the potential to sell very well.

N78 has terrible keyboard, big size, low quality picture and video, no Tv out, no Xenon flash, only 70 Mb memory....and is more expensive than the great 6220C (5mp camera VGA video 30fps, xenon flash, 120 Mb memory...etc)
The choice is pretty obvious to me !
