I have a n78 n im havin some serious problems with it. It keeps freezin up, z navi wheel has a mind of its own n z speakers arent clear, z headset has no use. N z list goes on n on n on. Am i jus bad lucked or does any1 hav z same problems?

i've been using this phone for 8 months, first i had some problems with the keypad but now its perfect and very easy, there are no important problems to mention, its fantastic.

Nokia had released the new firmware update v.21.002. You can download it from your phone. But, i still dnt know what the improvement from the last firmware.

Change the "memory in use" to phone memory, after that exit from setting (not from camera menu) and turn off ur phone. And then turn on ur phone>camera, check the zoom, after it works properly, change back the "memory in use" to memory card. This method is not always works. If it not works, try many times until it works. Or if u find a new method to fix this problem, dont forget to tell me..

hy every body, i have some problems whith the zoom when i take pics,some times it works some times it dosnt when i push the buton,i since i made the last update it stoped working,i tuned itt of the on and restored manufacture settings manny times whit out succes,can somme one help me???thank you

Whats alarming is the rumour that Nokia has stopped production of this phone, is this trueee? Why is it so? Or is it false? What r they disadvantages of buying a phone who's production has been stopped?

Ok about all these people complain about the keypad are stupid
Its not really big of a deal unless you text a lot or send a lot of messages.
Its a very good multimedia phone... the video player is good, volume can go REALLY loud on speakers, I had it for about 4 months and its great

Since many people report about having problems with Nokia N78 speakers I have to say my word. In most cases the speaker is not damaged, but it just doesn't make contact with the keyboard module, so the module should e disassembled and fixed.
Personally I had a problem with my left-bottom speaker, in my case the speaker was damaged. I fixed the problem by myself. It was really easy. I found a new speaker for about 4 $ in Bulgaria and I replaced it myself. I had to disintegrate the keyboard module and since the adhesives were not strong enough after that I had to use some instant glue to make sure the module is quite strong again. Everything worked out pretty well and my N78 has 2 speakers again. No soldering is required, but it's necessary to make sure the speaker is firmly attached and has good contacts with the keyboard module. Be extremely careful when disassembling the keyboard module. Also make sure to test everything before gluing the phone. If the sound You hear from the speaker seems strange and too low on max volume, put some electric insulating band on top of the speaker, You'll be surprised how perfectly it works then.
N78 seems to be tougher than it looks! It is a relatively strong phone. Many people coplain about the loose back cover - not a problem, easily fixed with some insulating tape.
I find the keyboard comfortable enough, since I type a lot on Fring and it is really not tiring my fingers, so it is OK.
I'm using N78 10 months now and I use all the great features, especially the GPS, Wi-Fi, MP3, divX (Coreplayer), Camera is great for a phone, sound is great, internet is fast, the phone is also a great picture browser. Only problem for me is battery time, but it cannot be better for the moment, so it's not an issue. On hard use the phone lasts about 1 day for me, but it is really really used all the time and multitasking. If I spare it, it can last even a week, so everything's OK! Best phone for this money!

how much do you reckon this would go for, im thinking it's probably more expensive than the nokia e51 because its camera and media features are much better, but could you get this phone under 400$?

Amazing phone works great and everything.
ONLY 1 CON. The Keypad is HORRIBLE. Cant text properly badly designed.
