Well, i recently buyed this cel, and it's the best one i've had... it's my first symbian and i can't think of having a different one of this class...
camera is like my 5610, but with many more options and superior quality... and personalization its at glass... many programs, many games... many themes... and the fm transmitter is a good adittion for those who use it for driving... keypad is not as so uncomfortable as the gsmarena review says...
the bad thing it's that the construction materials are kinda cheap looking, but that's not a big deal...

Does anyone know how to get cracked ngage games working? I'm gettin' all kinds of errors, and the KERN.EXEC 3 is the most frequent. Perhapse I'm not the only one experiencing this problem...

i am considering between the n78 and e71, each has its pros and cons, what is a little bit of drawback to the n78?

faisal, 06 Apr 2009hi guys.. please dont buy this phone. in pk i bought this p... moreFaisal, get ur cell checked. i bouht it too. mine is perfectly allright. i only had prob usin keypad but after a use of few days, i can type in speed. the thing i didnt like is the color or nevi wheel which is peeling off rapidly. over all, its a Good mobile.

My phone placed the latest firmware as 12.046. Strange when i know the latest is 20. Anyway, i still went on to upgrade to version 12 and noticed the fm transmitter signal went very low. Has anyone experienced this? Whats the remedy?

great phone, i pick this up upon E51 and even N81, camera is better, there is a GPS receiver, FM transmitter, lighter, newer software, maybe moetly the problem caused by software (It's new, anyway), but i think it's very easy to fix, coz the hardware is superb..

Disassembling N78 was relatively easy. Anyway it is hard to fix the bottom speaker problem by myself, cause the only way to reach it is to disintegrate the UI Module (the keypad and the bottom speaker are in one block of adhesives, cables, etc.) The UI module can be found for 75 $, and a speaker is only about 5 $ on ebay. Still I'm ready to disintegrate the keypad module and put a new speaker, I think they are all the same in n78, n82, etc. so it is easy to find one. I really hope the keypad module will still be working in the end:))

hi guys.. please dont buy this phone. in pk i bought this phone for 22000 rupees just three days ago and the moment i opened the box it was mere disappointment. it keeps on restarting and i m unable to play videoclips on it even the ones i recorded on its own camera. as far as features are concerned, its a great phone in such a price range. great screen great maps and gps, sound and all but the sorftware and the appearance is the major NO.

But at last i got my N78 baby......... and used for past 2 months and now i am very much satisfied.
Reason to reject
1) worst key pad design
2) worst back battery cover
3) handset will get finger print / dust due to its shine
4) i think signal pickup is little bit weak due to antenna fixed in top cover (but not much)
5) speaker phone is not good( opponent couldn't hear properly
6) some time device will get reset (rarely when using wifi , GPS....etc)
7) touch navigation is not good
Reason to select
1)Cheep phone with wifi , GPS , 2.4 inch screen
2) very good Wifi device
3) GPS works fine (not on E51)
4) 2.4" inch screen (where as E51 has 2")
5) good sound quality
6) camera quality is good (for me its good becoz never compare this with my digital camera)
8) good battery life
9) Dual speaker
10) N-gage games hackable
11) good speed (compare to my old N70)
12) 296 MHZ processor 96 mb RAM

I bought a N78 yesterday, amongst many many other things that baffles is using prediction (T9 dictionary) when composing text message... How do you switch dictionary on? please help

hey guys i want to buy a cell phone and am thinking abt N78 or E51 , what i like abt the N78 is the fm transmitter i found it really worthy but in the other side u all talk abt lots of problems: speaker , camera etc .
and the E51 is really classy and cool and does not have such prob. .. so how can u help me wz ur experience?
