its an amazing phone to have in looks or otherwise.For normal use id say its the best but for tech freaks not so sure ..

Adil, 12 Jan 2009can any body can tell me dat the flash of n79 is equivalent... moreN82 has better Xenon Flash than N79 and the camera is better than N79 ! So its not worth to switch from n82 to n79 !

can any body can tell me dat the flash of n79 is equivalent to n82's flash or not n i have n82 n i wanna move to n79 so is right choice or not...

good phone superb sound ,fast ,very good camiraand all of it are perfect awesome worth money.
please go the new for v11.0 it will make your n79 as if it is another enjoyble dream phone

Came out recently to rectify a whole series of faults found on n79. I wonder if they had a faulty batch or the white phone is made somewhere different from gray one? It could be that the white ones are prob free and the gray ones arnt? Dont know? What colour is urs? Where was it made?

This firmwar file is very new and sounds like it should render your phone to where it should have been from the very begining. Fit for purpose! Perfect!! Let me know if you have done this

Nokia have just bought out a new firmware file, version 11.049 to rectify faults. But it sounds like your n79 is fine! I dont undestand? Can some phones be a nightmare to use yet others be a dream? Like urs obviously is! Can you tell me where you got urs from and where was it made? Thanks

I have normal size thumbs and dont do THAT much texting. Can you tell me, did you just take a chance and buy ur phone over the net, and where from? or are you lucky enough to live near a Nokia shop? They are selling for £299. Ebay £250, As you prob know!? Is ur phone made in Finland or elsewhere?

Regarding the N79. I cannot experience 'hands on' cos I cant find anyone selling it where i live in Norwich. The nearest Nokia shop is in Reading. (A long way!) Some reviewers say the handset is "solid" "Well made" others say different!! Is it the case that the White model is made in Finland (Well made) and the seal gray is made in Hongkong? Or, are only the prototypes made in Finland? In fact, are any Nokia phones made in Finland? Lastly, has the new firmware update, version 11.049 really and truely rendered the n79 to perfection? or are there still bugs lurking? I want to buy this phone but not if its a headache to use!

since i have bought it ,it has only given me problems.the video doesnt play half the time.the phone hangs after every call..terrible phone.nokia priority ppl on linking rd sold it and now they are not helping.useless phone
