...received N8 as a gift this Christmas and i am truly loving the phone. HD is great! Photo and Video Quality is awesome! The coolest phone ever!

i recently pic this camara clarity super. Problem is battery backup. I use to carry charger wit me and a extra battery.:( is there any solution.?

Shame on Nokia. You make the "best camera phone" with defective autofocus moodule
Nokia care is crap. People sitting there dont know a word about phones but behave as they know everything. Give your phone to nokia care with one problem and it will be back with tons of problems and scratches. The name NOKIA "CARE" is indeed very ironical

I bought Nokia N8-00 on 27th of October 2010, around 15 days back the camera the camera has been unable to autofocus, a red rectangle appears in the middle of the screen when i half press the camera button, i have reset the camera settings, it is in auto mode, it occurs in all light conditions, images come out blurred, when i fullpress the camera button in the the red rectangle, anyone else having same problem, what is the solution.

guys i am facing a problem that my nokia n8 restarts 10 times a day so r u facing this problem tooo,i am changing my phone by a new one and i dont know if i should sell it or keep it and give another try.

Zac, 27 Dec 2010I'm using NK 5233 , eventhough it's a 2MP phone , but if yo... morePrint the pictures taken from the 12mp and the 2mp phone and compare them. That is the difference. Also display the pictures on the pc and then zoom into the pics and you will be able to zoom into a 12mp pic much more than you could do with a 2mp pic before the pics distort. A screen on the phone doesnt determine the clarity of a pic detail captured but does enhance the pic visually displayed on the phone like the iphone4 does with oversaturation of colors. Now print the iphone4 pics and the n8 pics and compare. That is where the difference is. Add to that, you can blowup the pic larger than normal and still have a great looking pic with all the detail intact but the iphones pics would distort. I hope you understand. The n8 screen serves it purpose but doesnt enhance the captured pics whatsoever. The camera optics and sensor does that which is one of the best thus far.

For all those N8 owners who are experiencing auto restarts, reinstall the software through Nokia software updater, even if you have the latest firmware preinstalled. I did that and for the past 2 days I have not experienced any restarts so far. Give it a try before returning the set. Maybe its a software related issue, though various articles on the internet suggest its an hardware issue.
