HI guys I m thinking to buy cool handset. but i've confused betn htc HD2 and n8. N8 hav 12 mp cam and HD2 hav 4.3 inch display and can be booted to android 2.2 froyo. plz help me out. opinion of People who hav used both hansets are most considerable.Thanx

Nokia N8 is the best on Hardware. But
couldn't meet the expectations of User on UI.
Lets see what Nokia can offer when Meego comes eventually.

used the n8 of my fren's a couple of times...its really fast for a symb...but sometimes it freezes and shuts off...and restarts again...why is tat...does anyother n8 user got this problem...otherwise crazy phony..keeps ur hands full and great touch and not as boring as the apple...

the next meego flagship will probably combine n8 and n900
n900 is amazing in os
n8 is amazing is hardware
bring some of the useful apps to ovi store
like yahooo im, yahoo flickr, google talk, vlc etc

Hey guys, will you quit this N8 Vs Others argument please, For iPhone or Droid users, ya N8 sucks a hard time.. For Nokia users, N8 is the best model released by Nokia yet. what the point in attempting to prove the device you use is the best. Please give your honest opinion here, so some one looking to find the suitable phone for him/her self can draw a strong opinion. Everything depends on the User.
For all the Symbian haters i tell you one thing, Some network operators out there in the world offer roaming SMS for nearly the local message cost using operator commands. Non of you can utilize that feature in your so called iOS or Android. Its a must for me coz i live US and still use my home network under roaming to send SMS. In US an international SMS cost $0.20 where i can send messages for just $0.04 using my roaming sim and Symbian phone. the So called iOS or Android fans will have no idea about what i'm talking.
Now i can argue that iOS and Android hold back the network operators from finding cheaper ways for effective roaming communication.
Hey Symbian fans, it will take ages for you to integrate your social contacts to your phone book, where in HTC sense for instance you just have to sign in to your Network and you will get all your contacts in your list and you can choose it to show or hide just like you choose for sim contacts.
Each person has their own need and preference for deferent platforms. So Please stop arguing and try to understand the facts.
Also for the guys who say N8 sucks and Nokia made a flowed device in terms of hardware and have no care for the users, Just remember they Agreed that they had a assembling error and they cover it by the warranty. They didn't say you hold your phone in a wrong manner or They didn't make a presentation every manufacturer make flowed devices.
And the guys who claim that nokia firmware and updates are not stable, just google for the HTC wildfire's wifi disable issue after a firmware update. Every phone has its pros and cons, the user should be able to make compromises between his needs and wants,there is an opportunity cost associated until custom made mobile phones are available in the market. if you want a camera in a phone which can out run most point and shoots and some DSLR's you need to sacrifice your fluid UI, you need a better browsing experience you need to sacrifice the camera or USB on the Go.
N8 is Nokia's Imaging flagship and it keeps its promise. a phone targeting imaging should have HDMI out, USB on the Go and all the features that N8 packs to make the shooting and sharing a breeze. Ya N8 missed the feature to share in your social network but that is fixed with new Social app and you always ave pixel pipe.
Now please don't say your grinder doesn't play music or your TV cant edit Word file, Comparing N8 to iPhone or Droids is just like that. iPhone targets the gaming, thats why they have gyroscope, Android targets the Social networks and browsing thats why they are excelling it, N8 targets the camera and its best at it. Thats it
