that thing is running at a 600 mhz processor! (Pardon if I am wrong) ITS RUNNING ON A PROCESSOR LOWER THAN NOKIA N8 AND STILL PERFORMS FASTER!!!
I know it doesn't have as much features. Granted. But I'm just talking about basic crap, like scrolling through menus, opening apps. Messaging. stuff like that. It performs without a hiccup! My Nokia N8 lags while trying to open a text message!!! WTF!!!
The lg's screen is so small YET it has portrait QWERTY!?!?! Now, nokia has no excuses. LG and Android has just proved it can be done!
I can't return my nokia, nor do i want to sell it for a penny less than what I paid for, so the only thing I will do is bitch about the about to consumers and tech support!
THAT FIRMWARE BETTER COME SOON...

Was advised not to get the N8 by my service provider due to many faults and problems with software, but I wanted it. I have been using my N8 for over 2 weeks now and....What a pleasure. I love it. Battery life is super, even playing games and watching videos, browsing , doesn't affect the battery life that much. Apps are available more and more each day on OVI store. I think in a short while the developers will bring out amazing apps for symbian 3. I beleive there is a DVB-H headset for the N8 which will allow you to watch digital tv on the device. Can't wait to get one of these. I wonder if it is available in SA.
Picture and Video quality is amazing. Thanks Nokia.

Youtube finally on the N8
To download Youtube for N8, go m.google.com from your mobile and select YouTube...and use 'web' and not opera browser for this purpose..

Kidding aside, I'm getting more and more tempted to get an N8. It's getting harder and harder for me to wait for MeeGo. It's the superb camera and the all aluminum body that's drawing me. Must resist...

So if you're shooting, say, forests or leaves, the image sizecan go upto 4MB. Again, in extremely low light (where the sensor can't pick much details) the size may be as low as 500KB. And what do you mean you haven't found any info regarding this? Damian has said it numerous times. You could've also checked the review!

I ha... moreThe photos are 1mb and more dependant on lighting conditions etc but they can go as much as 2mb as i have noticed on some of pics. I have been using the phone to take some pictures at work and they have been great. Mind you, i have set the camera at just 9 mp. The photo's are still big at about 1 mb but they still look great. Clarity is mind blowing and when it comes down to detail, that is when this phone shows it's stuff. No phone can shoot pic's to this quality, not even close to it. I love it.

bought N8 yesterday for my sister, i must admit it is not bad like others say it to be. the camera is superb (video and still)though s3 is great, i needs more refining. usb otg is really usefull, it is quick but not as fast as my N900 hehehe. btw, i got a french version for $540 and it's worth it :)

I ha... moreDude, 12 megapixel does not mean that the size (in kB or MB will be fixed). It just means that it will be a 4000x3000 pixel image as mentioned in the specifications page on gsmarena. The rest depends on the compression levels and optimisations done in the software.
The photo should be around 2-3 MB is what I can guess. I am not an N8 owner. But just googled and found out.
