Had it for 1.5 years now Samsung Galaxy S4... N8 was really a great phone.. I have a remarkable memories of it's experience especially it's camera... it was great of it's time but not now... not at all.. the new apps need more faster processor and faster Ram... Android rules now... plently of apps and features... I just love my new Galaxy S4 and my miss my N8 too expect it's slow processor :P

That will eliminate the need to "if" and "but". Nothing wrong with having 2 or even 7 phones (one for each day of the week). How you spend your money is your business.
I am very happy with my Symbian N8 because it is serving my EVERY need at MY price range! The day it does not, I'll just trot off to the nearest store and get me something else at the same PRICE that does MORE than what the N8 does, and does it MORE EFFECTIVELY. I don't see that happening anytime in the future because I have not found any such phone on the market that can match the N8 in capability at MY price...and I real researched it.
So, either I spend loads of money on a high end phone OR, get an EXCELLENT phone PLUS an airline ticket next year. That's the bottom line - your PRIORITIES, not the PROMOTION of one OS over the other. Who the hell cares????? All the companies are just vying for your money and playing with your minds to create unnecessary lust for more and more fancy phones. You won't find me lining up on the pavement to buy any newly released iPhone!!! So, it is a PERSONAL choice, not the production of a PhD thesis that nobody is interested in.
As a consumer, it is a matter of what phones are available on the market for the SAME price that will meet my needs - NOT theoretical agonizing over the joys and sorrows of Symbian vs Android OS. I (and most people) don't give a damn! If the phone is doing what I want, that's enough for me (and most people) - and my N8 is giving me more than what I expected, so I don't anticipate that I will be changing it any time soon. It will be just like my ancient 1108 which I still use as my companion flash light every time I go out at night, my house phone, my unfailing alarm & timer and my back up phone.
So, if you are ecstatic about the Android OS, I am really happy for you. I am ecstatic about my Symbian N8, period - and I highly recommend it. Note well - I am recommending a particular phone not a system.

N8 is the best camera phone but not playing all file formats videoes, if n8 is a android phone it may be super phone

I still keep ... moreI just looked at some of your photos on DailyMobile forum, very impressive! It shows how much can be done when you know how to do it, great work. ;-)
As for Android, it's been discussed a thousand times before so I won't go into it. I would choose Android before WP8 or iOS, but not if I can have Symbian.

hi i recently buy for second hand nor 8k. I fully formatted my Nokia n 8. I observe that in belle. I can't reply to message to sender id. It shows opening:-). And than invalid contact details. So any body if you know then please reply of. Yes. After format it works,But every time formatting is not solution.

Second: Did you made an factory reset before upgrading to belle??? Third: There is a way to downgrade, but requires some Phoenix skills and some luck. But, why would you want to do that, anyway?...

Why are you so religiously stalking our N8 site and reading every comment posted, huh? Not only that, but you are posting your own comments. You must be obsessed with the N8.
