Only thing that actually uses NTFS is Windows, since it is Microsoft proprietary format, but keep on trolling...

Every single phone has its problems, but so far N8 seems to have lot less than on average.

Today, my N8 kept charging after unplugging it. I tried to reset it but the power button wouldn't work. This has A LOT of problems guys. I'm glad I'm returning it this weekend. I still don't know what to get, but I'm sure anything will do better.

My goodness, the n8 is plagued with so many issues. The worst one ever of all among all phones is, it won't even turn on. How can nokia mess up on something very, very basic. Why is nokia selling dead phones? That would only mean that nokia just releases phones without even checking if they work at all. How disappointing. Nokia will be dead just like their dead phones :)

if they are Fat32, i have no idea who use that fat32 anymore? If you bought extra storage usually you fill them like movies and all kind of big files so you have to change them to NTFS which support over 4 giga files.

If you go to your friend place and thinking to copying something and he's storage is NTFS you have nice problem there :)

I think this fat32 vs NTFS is not known for many people, thats why people reporting not workind extra storages with N8. Its very bad it doesnt support ntfs too, but i think its not possible right? like N8 cant support over 2 gig video files, so you have to cut hd movies to get them work, not very useful either.

Jenny, 19 Nov 2010Does the N8 come standard with a memory card? I am undecide... more The N8 doesn't come with a memory card. But it does have 16GB of mass memory built in. There is also a slot for a memory card with support of upto a further 32GB. It also has USB on the go, which allows you to connect a USB memory stick or pen-drive or indeed an external hard drive if you want.

Q: How many will be affected?
A: Well if you look at the total number of n8's we have shipped, it is a small number.
my question is, How many have they shipped so far? does the Interviewer know and if he does he needs to let us know if at all he was doing this interview for the masses, but hey! it is a Nokia affiliated website so they are not gonna push it are they!!

No there is no problem, well its actually your own fault since your holding it wrong, look other phones can have this problem too if you squeeze em like hell, well okay its on every phone and we can't fix it, but well that glass design will look awesome with this plastic bumper...

                                What exactly was same?

Yep just like iphone antennagate, i know many iphone user who hasn't ever had those so called antenna problems. and even smaller amount had any calling problems. Actually i havent heard those real antenna problems almost anyone even these kind of forums, and im not surprised.

Internet has very big influence things like that, they spread very fast and got bigger and bigger.

Unbelievable. The amount of flame-baiting that goes on in these discussion boards. Silly and childish.
As far as the story of the dead N8's, what do people expect?
The N8 is an electrical device and as such is prone to a failure rate of a few percent, as do all other electrical devices. That's why we have warranties.
Can anyone truthfully say that all other manufacturers of mobile phones have never had to replace or repair any of their units under warranty? Of course they can't.
Obviously, some media muppet who happens to be either an Apple fanboy or an Android fanboy jumped at the opportunity to slag off Nokia and blow the whole thing out of proportion.

Wouldn't it be great if the comment boards were kept sensible and informative, instead of these silly flame-wars?
                                        We live in hope.
