How is possible that the N8 has a better calification than the iphone 4??? lest processor, less memory, less quality video recording, less quality screen, less aplications, less battery, much more pretty the iphone 4.
It means that the calification on this page is less than ridiculous. a lot of jealous people vote against the iphone because then could never have one and they have to buy this n8.

An underpowered phone with nice features and an old buggy software. Even GSM Arena says Symbian has some distance to catch. They didn't even compare it to high-end phones at the end of their review.

I do the same tests on every phone so I can make comparisons. I repeat: N8's battery performance is poor. If you don't believe this, check comparing battery life tests online. In this web page there's even one.

Even if I stated "narrow minded facts", you have to agree with my first post being longer than most. There's simply not the place to detail everything and elaborate. I judge it based in two months of usage and extensive testing.

I totally agree with this. I think the N8 is a very competing product indeed, but it just can´t win.

Warning: If you dont want co-workers and friends swarming you to look at your pohone, dont buy the N8. They just cant stay away or just walk by without taking a look. Some approach me saying they heard about my phone. There are numerous blackberrys and iphones around but man! Is the N8 phenominal or what?

snonre, 17 Nov 2010awesome post man. sometimes i wonder when haters and trolle... moreIt is quite simple. Large part of the trolls are little kids with their first smartphones and it must be the best phone in the world because that is the one the parents bought.
They have no actual facts or experience so the messages are 100% childish belief. Hopefully at least some of them understand and learn from the replies.
Sadly there are also some paid trollers like "fujapa" who did a serious copypaste fail on Yahoo Nokia forums few weeks past. He had some article copypasted into notepad or something and he had also started writing an e-mail in the same space. He did copy paste and posted the message to the forums... Here is the end of the copypaste:

Whats wrong with the GPU? And whats the whole picture exactly?
If the device performs well than the whole picture is clear. If we just look at the two CPUs than yes we can say one is better than the other but MHz is not everythin'.
There are youtube videos that demonstrate the N8 as a FAIL but there's also videos that demonstrate the contrary. So, who should we believe? Maybe the ones that didn't have native Symbian ^3 apps? The pics smples taken by users that forgot(?) to remove the camera lens foil? Come on, really? Are we all so simpleminded to take anything from the web without a grain of salt?

People like their phones for what they can do with it and I think that with the N8 there is little one can not achieve and for some reason many have found themselves in a position where their current phone is just not that great anymore(well, technology does evolve does it not?) and felt inclined to spread FUD all over the place just to diminish the success of the competition.

Anonymous, 17 Nov 2010i search so many review, n8 user? why wave is great came... moreFor taking photos the N8 is better hands down, but Wave produces smoother videos (25 fps vs 30)with more saturated colors. I still prefer N8's video too because of its quality optics.

Yes I had doubts when I saw the cpu is just 680mhz,I was afraid may b this phn is laggy,slow ! But my doubts r cleared when I bought N8,1st of all I tried to know abt itz multitasking ! I was surprised ! I could operate 30 app.s without any lags ! N8 is fastest symbian phone !
