I dont think he was very clear there but i think you could be right that he was on about the browser specifically. I thought it was that his phone shut down completely and wouldn't come on!

I downloaded some songs from ovi player through ovi music unlimited. I transferred them to my Nokia N8 through ovi player only, but every time I play a song for the first time on phone it says 'license missing. Get new license now'? Will it happen every time a song is played for the first time or there is something wrong with my phone? I got a ovi music unlimited subscription with my phone only and when I download songs directly on my phone than its working properly. please help...

That's ridiculous you would even say people are negatively voting just to downplay the phone. I own a Galaxy S, though I like lots of other phones, to include this one, so don't go around saying all Samsung or Android users are screwing the vote. The camera on the N8 is remarkable, 12MP on a phone?? It outspecs the Galaxy S in some areas even, except I'd figure Nokia would've went with a faster processor, 680MHz seems somewhat outdated by today's standards for a phone of such high caliber.

According to iSuppli, Nokia N8 costs 187$ for the parts. Of the money, the costliest thing is the display. 3.5 inch AMOLED built by Samsung!! Camera and Xenon flash costs 31$. DDR memory from Samsung again. So that means, even if Nokia N8 is a hit, Samsung too will gain some profit. Interesting.

Got a n8 last friday.and simply fell in love with it.have been glued to it since then.it keeps on surprising me every minute.got it for 23.5k from talk telecom store at mosque road, bangalore.totally worth every single paise.thanks to nokia

How is a update going to help if the phone cannot come on in the 1st place? Secondly, if you say they know about the problem, that means it could be an ongoing one! That is a big concern cos how many people could have the same problem? Heck i could be one of the statistics. You got any facts on it being common?

[deleted post]In any case I believe it will make a difference because nokia already have a very comprehensive product line, this is iphone not available. for me I fancy is their degree of software system, that y i use it. Every time nokia released it anyway phones are very aware and concerned about.
