hey guys in mumbai i got my n8 today it self from heera panna shop no-81,my device is made in finland and i got it for rs.25500/-
the device is awesome the camera quality excellent sound in ear phone and on speaker is daam good, i would frankly sugesst you please go with this phone without giving second thought,the only problem is the ear piece provided by nokia along with mobile are not that happening if you want a good quality music is earphones buy some other earphones,i m using stereo bluetooh headphones of nokia which gives me excellent sound quality.

Naturally you don't understand any of that. But it says "Add new drive", and it lets you connect the N8 to an external drive over the internet

I hope that they won't and stick with Symbian and Meego.

Hi everyone. I recently bought this phone and im extremly pleased with it. The camera is outstanding'ly sharp and crisp and very easy to start up. I would say its better than the iPhone 4 , by far. Over all i highly recommend this phone to anyone looking for a decent smartphone.

Even if you'd compare some higher resolution display with N8, I'd say you wont notice the actual difference with human eye. Even if you will, it's so minimal that I personally don't find it worth the extra battery consumption and extra usage of resources.

Screen resolution
taking phones with generally equal price
Samsung Galaxy S = 233ppi
Nokia N8 = 210ppi
HTC HD2 = 202ppi
iPhone 3GS = 160ppi
Don't know from where everyone has made the conclusion that N8 has a terribly low resolution screen. Difference is their but little.
Agreed that Nokia made a lot of mistakes these years but that does not mean to bash them for false reasons.

Everybody who is getting the phone, remember to get the Midnight-theme. The "Software update"-app should offer it to you. It has all new icons that look really good. On the downside the theme overall is a tad dark, but Midnight Aqua (it has many different "subthemes") looks good and goes well with the blue N8 I have, for example.

I just tried it now with my USB mouse and ... moreBaseline sort of is that USB OTG will only work with stuff that doesnt need drivers. There's a chance that there are some preset drivers for something, but rule of thumb is that if it needs drivers, it wont work.
My laptops gaming mouse wouldnt work, but my fiancees normal USB mouse worked. My mouse requires drivers, hers doesnt
As for bluetooth, well, bluetooth stuff always works with a few clicks/taps/automatically cos its a standard.

I just tried it now with my USB mouse and it worked, it took a while to recognize it though, not like in the video, that was really quick.
It didn't even ask for the driver or installation! How could that be?
