Samsung is a good washing machine, refrigerator brand...in mobile phones it just doesnt do for me...so samsung should stop experimenting with mobile phones and concentrate on manufacturing washing machines...

backbone of N8 is very strong,i think android may fearing for virus attack by media file format.bu it hav lot of application ,i think no one use such apps regularly .we need only a little bit useful apps daily.

Thanks on that reply. I tried to get the inside scoop with the nokia customer service yesterday, but it seems like they are reading a card or are told to not give information out, really weird.
So do you think the silver looks better than the dark grey(black)?
At fist I wanted the silver but the black may look sorta "slate" looking so I may stick with that.

I pre-ordered the N8 in USA on 08/18/2010.
I have NOT received my shipping confirmation email from Nokia. This is taking forever!
I sorta wanted the silver but since the black was only available, I'm just going to stick with that.
So if you pre-order any other color tomorrow, when did Nokia say they might ship? Maybe a week later.
I'm finding out the pre-order was sorta a joke...seems like it anyway.

I never had any yet so I cancelled my preorder form Aug. 16th I was suppose to get the black one which is the only color for the US... But the good news is all the other colors go on preorder tommrrow... I want the orange or silver one.....

To me, s^3 looks perfect. iphone looks toy-ist, android looks half backed.

Nokia's on a winning streak! I'm currently using X6-00 16GB and I'm gonna replace that with the N8 come February maybe.

[deleted post]Have you heard symbian smp? This will allow the new symbian OS to utilize ARM cortex A9 MULTICORE processors by shutting down the other cores if not in use. That will help save battery life, and still your phone is powerful enough to do heavy task. The first SMP phones will be announced just this year. Will be available nxt year.

The nokia n8 surely is the most complete and its got a lot of potential to become one of the best phones ever and the best nokia phone since n95
