To all the visitors of this site, don't be fooled by the result of the voting. It seems that it is abused by android and iOS fans. Go to hell symbian and nokia critics! Better leave this site now and go to your respected anti-nokia forums! May be you all feel afraid of this nokia phone monster. Don't criticize this phone its because it is not yet released in the market. If you hate this phone, better close your mouth and buy android or iphone devices! Nobody force you to buy nokia n8!

Anonymous, 01 Oct 2010about the techradar review its not about fanboysim or likin... moreSo you are fanboy yourself.

Symbian, is not trying to be anybody else. So when you are complaining about symbian's hierarchy of menus, symbian's own interpretation of homescreens, and symbian despite having flash lite 4 which is a good thing and still for you a browser without a flash is better(like iphone 4's), you think it's a good thing? Are you just wishing symbian to be an exact clone of other OS? Definitely you misinterpreted the word OS.

And when you complain when it's your inability to understand is the problem.

I could've taken that review seriously if it talks more about it's speed/performance, because, as a user that's all i need to know. But the moment i read the first part left a bitter taste in my mouth too early. They are critisizing the symbian's mechanism of doing things done, which is the reason why we love symbian.

The review, for most part, is full of htc/iphone bias. I don't care if they give the phone a low score, but what turns me off is that as if the review is done to promote other brands, by stating that some other's is much better than the one you're making a review of without respecting what may be their reader's own opinion. Maybe their thinking they will receive peer approval thereafter, but guess what? The past comments are from open minded people, thank God.

                              What's the first thing you
                              should do when you get
                              the N8? Considering it
                              packs the biggest image
                              sensor embedded in a
                              phone yet, Carl Zeiss optics,
                              and an eight-digit pixel
                              count, it seemed obvious
to us that the answer was
to take it on a picture- and
                              video-taking stroll around
                              London. On our way out
                              we saw our iPhone 4
                              looking all sad and lonely,
                              so we went ahead and
                              brought it along as well.
                              Below you shall find one
                              gallery of pure,
                              unadulterated N8 sample
                              shots, another interspersed
                              with the iPhone's results
                              for comparison's sake, and
                              a final one with side-by-
                              side 100 percent crops
                              from each image taker.
                              Once you've digested all of
                              those, we suggest hopping
                              past the break and tucking
                              into some tasty video
                              comparisons for dessert.
                              Naturally, all the images
                              are entirely unretouched
                              (but for our masterly
                              watermarking) and the
                              iPhone 4's HDR hocus
                              pocus has been left off.
                              We've also provided a zip
                              file containing all the full-
                              res imagery shot with the
                              N8 in a link below.
                              A quick note is also
                              merited about the N8's
                              resolution. The sensor's
                              display ratio is 4:3, which
                              means that full 12
                              megapixel shots are only
                              available in those
                              dimensions. The camera
                              software, however,
                              defaults to shooting 9
                              megapixel snaps at the
                              increasingly popular 16:9
ratio -- this is done simply
                              by cropping away the
                              "excess" bars at the top
                              and bottom of the image,
                              meaning that the 9
                              megapixel images are
                              giving us identical
                              performance as the 12
                              megapixel ones, they're
                              just chopped down (from
                              4000 x 3000 to 4000 x
                              2248) for the sake of
                              convenience. Now, on with
                              the show!
