[deleted post]Hi, Just to shed some light regardign Nokia Vs IPhone... Nokia has been manufacturing smartphones for over 15 years... The first ever smartphone (wrt todays' standards) was the Nokia 9210 in 1996.... Over 41% of the market today is being dominated by the Symbian OS. Apple introduced the 1st Iphone in 2007 and is still in a state of infancy with plenty of bugs leaving the customers scratching their head. Symbian OS has been a known for its stability and is beyond caomparison with any other OS. Android OS has been picking up lately due to its high extendibility. But as per market studies Nokia will be still be leading with 40% of the smartphone market by 2014 leaving Android to be the 2nd ... So in short Nokia shouldnt be compared to any other brands and vice versa...

How sad I've been waiting for this handset for allmost 6months since it has been announced in gsmarena but it is not yet released..T_T ugh..nokia make it more faster...

The first shipments of the Nokia N8 are expected to start by the end of September, and consumers in the U.S. are expected to receive their devices thereafter. As with every global launch, when the devices reach customers will vary market to market.
So how long is "thereafter"? Thanks everyone. :O)

i like nokia phone if u buy cheap nokia phone what happened used phone they change hole face plate cover and the phone look new they sell in cheap price and u hav many problem with that. so im telling u dont buy cheap. if u wana buy nokia go to nokia website buy original.

At the website of Nokia it says that the N8 has "Office document editors", which is a very important app for those who are looking for a complete smartphone. You should correct that (because here it says only that its document viewer) to verify if this this is real or if Nokia its lying on its website.

Only TWO models not dissapointed E51 and 5800...
Other models is STUPID and outdated... like N8!!!
Nokia have ugly fonts, menus, OS everything is OLD and OUTDATED!
No innovation from long time...
Shame you Nokia!!!

[deleted post]i was have the same problem my friend , but when i take a round all of devices i see that the keybored was somthing from the past , now you need just a theen device , not havy (with the keybored) , thats the next generation of the smartphones ...... and trust me you will use to it .

N8 or E7... so hard to choose. I guess it comes down to camera & fm-transmitter vs. keyboard & bigger screen
