hi all,wonder how gaming with n8 connected to a 52inch 3D led hd tv feels like,will definetly buy n8.
Did any1 manage to connect their iphone4 or galaxy to a simple hd tv?

apple made people buy phones for just UI and apps, now nokia is catching up in UI, and add great multimedia functions to make for me the best offering for 2010.. The N8 is so well balanced in features and price. I am happy to be returning to nokia with the N8. My time with apple and android was an illusion.. Now i can see.. Thank u nokia...

And after the one who doesn't care about smooth graphics on mobile games that much began to notice the difference, a user like you is created, this case, it's me who's changed. I do care about smooth graphics in games, but i always put it on mind not to expect a psp quality on a mobile phone. Thus i put my requirements a bit lower on this segment. After watching more more videos once again, with full concentration and full intent to know what phone performs best in terms of gaming, i have to say that iphones are indeed milestone ahead than what i expect gaming on mobile phones should be, and i'm overwhelmed.
N8, much as i wanted it to be a competitive gaming handset like your iphone, is still a phone. And isn't that my aim why i came here on gsmarena in the first place? That is to find a good phone that suits my needs best.

Applications are wee bit slow !! UI is just alright, not too fast.. Multi touch is inconsistent.
Post UAT Fixes and firmware releases are scheduled and project plan rolled out recently.
Rumors regarding memory leaks untrue.. Battery still an issue though.

The "tec" (as you pronounce it) goes with 12MP Cam, Xenon flash, USB OTG, BT3, 802.11n, AMOLED, HDMI, FM Transmitter, DDP, Gorilla glass screen, free nav etc... heck, what do you want more?

The phone N8 looks VERY promising... its the most promising NOKIA proposition so far. Nokia hopes to turn things around with this one and gain market from iPhone and others. One thing is for sure iPhone forced everyone to look at phones in a different light and reinvent the product and industry...even solid giants like NOKIA.

I was thinking to myself if I was NOKIA CEO how would I change things they are now. I was wondering if u guys have the same thoughts as me. Nokia should Have an alliance with google and use their android OS on Nokia phones. Nokia chose to Ally with Intel and instead make MeeGo 1st thing MeeGo does not have a smooth UI and apps is still not many. If only Nokia and google work together to create a new type of device Like Droid X or those type. we will see Nokia gain control of the market again. Frankly speaking The best NOKIA Device I used before was the N91 music edition The N95 8GB and N93i those really impressed me alot I love those phones in 2006 to 2008 but now the design are all the same and the same OS. Hi I have been a nokia User for 10 years and it does not disapoint me at all. But things started to change recently. I have been using N97 and it has no nice apps the graphics of the games are all java type and it keeps freezing. Not supporting apple or android here but stating an example of how Nokia Needs more apps rather than many good hardware but the Os and apps are lagging behind. Im sure many of you guys living in North america has seen Nokia shut its flagship stores and Many people are turning to Android and Apple. Take Motorola for example the phone it has last time are mostly not good in design software and apps but Motorola is smart to use android and create Droid devices which is nice in design Hardware and software. I do wish to see Nokia Revival in the handset market. No matter what im buying the N8 as soon as its out The 12 megapixel camera and HD recording are the best no phone can match the quality of nokia camera yet

Symbian is the most popular and mature os and symbian^3 is an open source,u cant claim it as waste before using it ! If u dont know anything then better u stop posting here !

Cant u see 12mp,xenon,hdmi,gorilla glass,al casing,usb otg,tv receiver,dolby digital...u need to do some research b4 posting n claiming anythng! Why would any1 pay too much for iphn if it has only b8r screen,touch,application,ui ? Also some people dont want galaxy bcoz it lacks a simple flash and cheap build quality ! So overall N8 is very well balanced phone and also it wont cost too much so no wonder if many people will choose it over iphn n galaxy :p

Dont buy any nokia symbian OPERATING SYSTEM,it's a waste OS to buy now a days ANDROID market is going then why you buy this SYMBIAN os phone if it's price is higher than 18k then buy HTC DESIRE or LEGEND they are super amoled screens and comes with 2.1 ANDROID OS can upgrade to 2.2 also.

me prefer symbian^3 UI over android UI. symbian UI more user friendly and easy to use
