N8 will be officially launched during or very soon after Nokia World 2010, along with official announcement of E7, C6-01 and C7 (and also MeeGo-run N9?). We'll see!

I can read a lot of comments regarding CPU not being "fast enough".. The thing is that Nokia phones do not need high CPU, thy perform with lower CPU than other brands hence being more "battery friendly".
Remember, Nokias are designed to be phones. iPhones are designed to be something else looking like a phone.
2-5years from now, Nokia will be back as n.1 brand. They still are market leaders - most just forget about it...

I was looking at youtube videos of the n8's browser to see if they fixed that check board thingy when zooming out (which it doesn't look like they have)

However on the video the man says "obviously this is only going through wifi so is not as snappy as it should be"
...??? I thought that was the fastest way to browse the internet on a phone or is 3g faster?
