The 680Mhz is good enough (especially with the GPU acceleration) and a 1 Ghz processors biggest effect on the N8 would be lower battery life, most likely.
I felt no lag using one.

The phone is superb,but the only thing I dont like is the processor is kinda laggy cause it's only 6++ Mhz ..Nokia should go for 1Ghz to fight with iPhone 4.

[deleted post]Only thing I know about Comes with music is that it's being "replaced" with Ovi Music Unlimited or something like that, and I've heard that it would come on an N8 too, but I guess not in the start cos it at least hasnt really been marketed so far.
I don't really have any interest for CWM-things so havnt really tried finding out either.

I'm really longing for a decent... moreWell that probably is abit too much to ask, cos I don't have 1) a tripod 2) a camera aparts from my cellphones 3) I've never really taken any pics in my life so all I know is to how to point and shoot.
I don't even think I can utilize the N8 camera to it's max potential, in case it would include anything else from pointing and shooting :D

Being from Finland myself and having preordered it early from the finnish Nokia Online store, I'll be amongst the first "normal people" to get my hands on one, since I believe Finnish preorderers will get theirs first (cos duh, they are made here :D).
So I will try to make a youtube video the day I get the phone that covers the thing as widely as possible. It's not gonna be a review, more like a run down on the features and functionality. But was planning to show the thing software wise like nearly inside out and let people make their own decisions about it.

in the September folder of the Dutch Carphone Warehouse (The Phone House, www.phonehouse.nl) the N8 is printed as "available as from 18th of September)
could this be? Would be great anyway. The closest Phonehouse is only 45min from where I live, at walking distance from a Dutch coffeeshop hmmmm where should I go first :D ;-)?

Now the N8 is officially on the Way,Loads will be want to see an read a review about the N8,an have Nokia finally succeded in producing a Top Class Smartphone,an with the London Event on the 14th-15th September,Nokia will be Targeted with loads of Questions about the N8 Why? an Whats as caused the N8 to be Delayed an taken so long to sort out,Hope we do find out all the news about the N8 an its well been waiting for,an will the Symbian 4 software be ready for 2011

I guess one worthwhile thing to notice is too, that while stuff like the iPhone 4 was released pretty early from its announcement, it (and its earlier versions) had massive troubles at getting the product available.
Given, the amounts sold were pretty big in very short times, so maybe we can give them that, but just cos something was out officially early doesnt mean you can actually get ur hands on it :D
