I guess one worthwhile thing to notice is too, that while stuff like the iPhone 4 was released pretty early from its announcement, it (and its earlier versions) had massive troubles at getting the product available.

Given, the amounts sold were pretty big in very short times, so maybe we can give them that, but just cos something was out officially early doesnt mean you can actually get ur hands on it :D

This pre-view brochure I was given at the Salo Nokia factory (where the European and nearby markets' N8s will be made in) had a "picture" and short piece of text about Need For Speed: Shift, but nothing about the games mentioned in earlier comments.

So in a way I could figure this game would/should be in the phone when you take it out of the box at least around this part of the world.

Feels like when i waited for e72,and waited, and waited..Nokia cannot rely on one superfone that taking months to get out, they should be announcing more and more of them especially a button superfone to fill the gap in the market..

Raffa We, 02 Sep 2010hi Wheez that's what I mean with "reliability"... moreAh, makes perfect sense.

While I do agree, but this phone at least is sorta special in that case.

They said they wont release the phone until they are satisfied with the software (probably after what happened with N97), and while sure I'd like an exact date, I also like that they will really put the software into good shape first.

Nokia had such an amazing opportunity to deliver an amazing phone but looks to fail big time. Why put Symbian on their flagship phone when it is about to die? At least use their newest OS. Had full intentions of buying this phone before but what's the point when the lifeblood is pretty much extinct?
