Retina Display or AMOLED, i'll still go for Nokia N8.

n900 is mini laptop computer phone and run linux meamo 5 operating system and upgradble to linux 9.. but n900 is so expensive 35k, camera is excellent with videolight.. n900 also use controller of PSP for GAMES to your n900... N8 is USB phone, and no any one say is good or bad wait untill it released..

Nokia have released beta test versions of swipe text for S60 V5. Only hope this gets onto the N8.
Also something else Nokia need to introduce for the N8's HTML Web browser is tabbed browsing, multiple pages.
I hope N8 release is 23rd Sept for the Uk. 16th for denmark & other euro country markets.

Anyway many times N8 was targeted to rate it poorly ;).
Once the ratings where like 9.2++ for all 3 categories.
But in half an hour all ratings went near 8 ( and gsmarena reverted the rating back to 9++ )..

Those Who hates symbian (not symbian-nokia but any symbian)........... I need some info...
Guy's I'm really interested to know about your mature and efficient android/iOS devices that runs with below 500 MHz proc, 128 MB and less mAh battery but have the following property,
1. above 360 x 640 res
2. Multitasking
3. really fluid, no hang, no crash, no restart....
4. More application runtime environment than symbian
5. power management
6. robust ecosystem.....
cmon' gyz enlight us... we are the dumbest!??!! symbian lover who thinks about SMART use of resources in a SMART phone....

Re battery do what I do. I ALAWAYS buy a in-car charger, & spare battery. So if the model does not have a feature that you need DONT BUY IT. When i see the many other comments about 1200 mAh its like saying "I will not recharge this phone more than once a week" wow! DO YOU KNOW WHAT I HATE ABOUT THE NOKIA N8?..NOTHING! 12MP IS WAY TOO MUCH PIXEL BUT I CAN LIVE WITH THAT. So adapt the phone to fit your needs. By the way the last time I phone was off because of no juice from overuse approx 45 seconds, the time to put in the spare.

opinions opinions. I would have gone for samsung I9000,except for the NO flash. If I want a silouhette I will buy something without a flash. Being a video call user I can't see how you can include phones that can't video call, and then rate this to a phone that has not been released. Only the Samsung can video call and when you have it & use it you will know..
Personally I think that 12Mp is way too much pixels and was surprised why nokia did not come in @8Mp.
A 12Mp jpeg will be approx 6.5Mb each.
