I am thinking this phone might be able to run meego. Remember when N9 first leaked? It was running symbian^3 and now it seems it might b running meego. Considering N8 and N9 have roughly the same specs I think my theory is possible.

Anonymous, 23 Aug 2010is this n8 made by steel???The front and back cover are aluminium, and the top and bottom caps are plastic for better reception.

I have just checked the asphalt 5 demo on youtube for nokia n8....i have seen that the game is played with the touch sensor..not with the motion left right...can any one confirm that the game can be played with the motion in nokia n8 (like i phone or galaxy s)....please help me out.....

Optical zoom is completely useless in stills. When you zoom a 12pixel camera 2x, you are left with an effective resolution of 3mp. Why not just take the photo and crop it later?
Its a different story for videos though as 720p video resolution is less than 3mp hence the n8 has about 2.5x digital zoom.

RONALD, 23 Aug 2010;( bad news n8 has only 2x zoom in still photography.digital zoom is useless, its only for newbies, digital zoom is actually just cropping your picture and stretching it, loosing details in result, ill just get closer to the subject that i want to take a picture if i were you, that way you wont loose details, if you know what im talking about, optical zoom is a different story.
