the Nokia N8 will have "virtual memory" like the N900! YAY! This means an additional 768MB of RAM will be used from the hard-drive if NEEDED. Yes 1GB of RAM ! S0 Symbian ^4 will be coming to the N8 afterall! Apparantly the processor has been designed so that users are able to Over-clock it to +- 1GHz! And the SCREEN is 800*480 resolution!!!, but Symbian ^3 only works in nHD res, BUT an upgrade to symbian ^4/hackers will hopefully sought this problem out.

Nokia C6 is already released here in the Philippines the same time as Nokia C3! Nokia C3's price is costlier than Nokia 5233. The Nokia c6 has a price of 14,000 PHP. same as the price of the x6's 16gb available here. There are no X6 32 gb here in the Philippines. I agree that 5800 is popular until right now. I have seen many 5800s in Manila. I also became part of the 5800 xm craze. And now X6 has the best capacitive touchscreen so far ( more responsive than the Iphone 3gs capacitive touchscreen. The 5230's touchscreen is the best. I guess the resistive touchscreen of Nokia is much better than the others. I thought 5230's resistive touchscreen was a capacitive one. Until i knew the difference of resistive and capacitive. I am looking forward on buying N8!

For those who is buying C6. The build quality of the body is the best compared to 5800's built quality. the qwerty is the best. Its very solid and compact.

          vote it 10 10 10!

          the votes will rise again!

It is the most powerful and most popular phone right now. It is not released yet. The phone with highest percent of daily interest with 93% and will even rise more when N8 is released very soon. Look at the votes! 8.3 8.4 8.3 with the total votes of 71,828 that is unusual for a phone that is not even released yet. Have you seen the Iphone 4's voting result. It is really low. I know who's the one who is dragging the N8s rating down. The ifanboys and the samsung fanboys! There are lots of comments here in the forum! I remember the days Tom Helge is messing up here bragging that Sony Erricsson Xperia X10. X10 has an outdated os android v.1.6 which makes the 384 mb ram and the qs 1 ghz processor useless. My Xperia x10 hangs sometimes. Poor there's no 720p recording! froyo and gingerbread will be out and x10 is still not getting eclair! hiw pathetic!

From my readings, there is More sophisticated transition effects and a virtual memory like that in Nokia N900!

What will do with 1ghz processor when Wave will be faster than N8 a fraction of second, which a normal customer dont notice lol. You are just a crying ass who dont know N8 has a powerful Gpu, hd playback/recording and other serious work is done by Gpu on N8. 680mhz cpu is just a plus. You are just a crying ass and nothing.

they need to put gpu in n, c ,x e series high and mid end phones

if nokia want to sack ceo opk, wait until half a year from the date meego phone releases

From what I have observed from some video clip previewing the Nokia N8, I found that the on screen volume settings can only be adjusted by tapping on the (+) and (-) buttons. This has got to be a joke right?

Isn't swiping to adjust music/video loudness the trend nowadays. Plus it is also more convenient. Nokia, please pay attention to this. Also regarding the default web browser. Seems like a lot of consumers are displeased with Nokia built-in webkit. Nokia, please change it to either Mozilla browser or Chrome as the default web browser. Or even better, create one which can outshine all the mentioned browser (if possible).

I also find that the capacitive screen can sometime be unresponsive. Nokia, you definitely have to look into this matter because it will leave a huge impact on user experience.

I will continue to provide feedbacks on fields which need to be improved. One thing I do like is the visual task manager. Really a deal breaker. My god, I believe N8 is the first to use something like that. One word, AWESOME. It's one of the most perfected task manager I have seen on a phone.

BTW, it won't kick many asses if the GUI is
sluggish, or as slow as N900's or if you compare it to other CPU+GPU phones,
sorry to say that to guys thinking it's a premiere :
see Vivaz and Omnia HD for example. That's why
Nokia better put in some good components.

                                    Customer, i totally agree you.

From my point of view, N8 should definitely get a RAM increase. 512MB would make it more convenient for us users. Flash support on web browser is a very welcomed feature, no doubt about it and the use of a powerful is also a welcomed add on. However, just 2 request.

                                        1. Please change the default browser. Make it similar to those of N900 where many users reported satisfactory browsing experience.

                                        2. Please allow pinch-to-zoom in ovi maps (really a killer app) and please improve the music quality of the N8 too, like what Nuwan has stated.

For the rest of the part, the N8 seems to be quite superior when compared to current smartphones running on iOS or Android. I think Nokia should compare N8's performance to those of Nexus One and iPhone so that they will be able to upgrade the N8 and improved it's overall performance.

The 12MP pictures produced by the N8 is simply astonishing. Even when viewed from my computer screen, it is simply GORGEOUS!! Two thumbs up for Nokia on that matter. Plus, with Qt and potting of other OSes apps, I believe the Ovi Store will become one of the hottest app store in the future, comparable or even exceeding apple's app store. =D
