nokia can release it at any time they want, they just want to make sure that its performance is a total satisfaction.
If you really cant wait, go for n900 if you are techie, n900 has great web browserp, firefox, tranmission, some decent games like angry birds, zen bound, drnoksnes(run rom, super mario all star, controllabled by wii remote), supertiux.etc. Great video codec aupport, ...........

i am looking around for a new phone, am looking at either this or the nokia n900. having a physical keyboard is a must for me, but after watching some youtube vids of the n8 and seeing the multimedia and usb capabilities, it has me seriously thinking about going completely touchscreen. it also has more apps than the n900, as well as the nokia navigation. only down side is the loooong wait, and i don't know if i can wait too much longer!

n i loved this phone cause of its specs
my brother just brought a iphone 4
it sucks
but its very fast n has great apps
but im going for nokia n8

Geee . . . You must be some cell phone freak or something. I have only found out about this cell last week. Was it already announced 5 months ago? I though only Sonyericsson trumpet half year or so in advance :-)

its packed with cool features
hdmi,usb on the go,12 mp camera
its not just a phone
its THE PHONE
im waiting for 5 months to buy this phone
but the only pain is that i have to wait for 3 more months
