Carol, 20 Nov 2012You are umbelieveble with your video calling. For you it is... morehahahaha..... You brought this phone for camera. Joke of today. U mean it has good camera. But i want to tell you that mr carols. Just for once only. You test front camera of galaxy s3. You will forget all cameras. Its even clear than a normal human eye. Then u think of back camera. Its really clear. You will even forget nokia pureview. I also respect nokia. I really dont say that nokia is bad. But their technology is bad in nowdays world. Samsung is really going high day by day. If you dont believe s3 camera. Just go to nearest market and take a test of s3. You will not forget nokia. But i bet you everything.

I bought it for camera, fm transmitter, quality, Especially Cause It Is Symbian, hdmi, carl zeis, gorilla glass, desing, cause it's nokia, battery, signal, screen. More then just an lauzy skyoe video calling, and i'm preatty shore that people who bought it, bought it from the same reasons. If you don't like it (saing that yoi have it) why don't you take it back and buy something else, or sell it nd buy something else? It is not like you are forved to keep it and not to use skype video call.

But after a week of purchase i finally got to know that it has no skype videocall. Even nowhere on pack is written that it has no skype videocall. And why will nokia write such thing. If they will write. Then nobody will make this purchase. And even for first time. I am using symbian.

U think that its truth that they are not doing for symbian because they are lazy. Its because u may not be knowing about launch process. Once skype will launch their viddocall app for symbian. Microsoft will have to suffer a heavy loss because trollie, there are nowdays very leas no of symbian users like you only compared to android. You are giving your wrong advices to others . In my neighbourhood, everyone is using samsung and i used their phone, samsung never gets hang, it is quite quite fast and their cameras are superclear. N8 back camera is even worse than s3 front camera. If u dont believe. Then you go to nearest market and compare urself and then you give your comments here.

If... moreFirst of all, when i buy a device for something... i read the specs, also i read about the apps i want to use to see if they support my device. In this case, NOT. Everywhere is written that Skype and yahoo does not support Symbian video calling (cause they are to lazy to do it for Symbian) but yet you bought an n8 and got disappointed... BUHUU! So, mrs Troll. What can people here say? Or you are really dum* or you are a TROLL! You peak the version that suits you. At the end it is really not nokia's fault cause some people are... Ignorant TROLLS.

It is kind of the same procedure. Phoenix is a program used by Nokia care center to update or fix issues in mobile phones. it is more for advance users, but with a bit of will you can learn it to.:)

1. He said he does not have problems with his battery's (cause he has 2 phones), i'm also not having problems with my n8. Average use takes me through 2 days, less then average takes me through more then 3 days. Heavy usage takes me easy through 24+ hours. So, it is quite very good.
2. Nope, nope and nope. You need to uninstall battery monitor cause it is known to cause battery drainage in some devices. Maybe yours is one of them.
After that, just let the battery discharge to the point 0 (you will know when that is, without battery monitor, when the phone will warn you that the battery is low) just use it as you normal use it until the battery drains.
when the phone will tell you that has low battery, turn it of and plug the charger, let it charge to the maximum.
After complete, unplug it and let it for 10 minutes to rest, THEN turn it on.
After everything is loaded plug it back in until it's full.
Do this process 3 to 5 times and see if you have any improvement.
Also, after all of this, don't let it discharge more then 10% (one bar) only from time to time, or when you are forced to do so(cause you are not home or something like this)
Charge it when ever you can. Will last longer in time. AND will last longer when you need it to do so. Also read about how to take care of your lithium ion battery and prolong it's life in internet. You will find allot of useful posts. Hope you understood me better this time. Hope i could help also.
Also their is a very good app: Best TaskMan, which is very good in killing tasks that always remain open in background. The program does not integrate well in the system but is very useful to use it as a task killer and not as a task manager. This tasks are not killed by any program like "app stop" so you need to kill them manually: Camera (this task is found in all apps area). Mapsbackground, s2variantsrv.exe, syncshareserver.exe and others will be found under processes. here is a link for it if you're interested. http://store.ovi.com/content/5808

Still with old firmware v013, do i have to update to anna first before i can get belle update because belle update is not showing when i opened software updater. I only get belle demo and v024.001 updates... What is that belle demo? Please help

Even if you get a Iphone worth more than Indian Rupees 50000, there is no feature of announcing the time jyst by pressing a button. This is where Nokia 1280 and all multimedia mobiles stand. Ok?.
