N10 ( name predicted ) would target multimedia and at the same time business class. It would be lightly bigger and heavier than N8 but screen size would remain 3.5". On the look side, it is assumed that N10 ( name predicted ) might be available in colours Dark Grey, white and Silver. Nokia is seriously taking a dive into touch screen challenge and we might be able to enjoy more powerfull gadgets with user friendly OS from Nokia....cheers

This is for N8 admirers...I am posting it after being able to collect the info through some sources who are some how linked with Nokia...N8 should be availble through out asian region around mid july to early August at the predicted price of around USD 350 and to follow N8 ( probably model no. would be N10 slatted for availablity within asian region before christmas with specs : processor upto 800 mhz, inbuilt storage 32 GB, 1500 mAh Li polymer replacable battery, 1080 HD video recording and other specifications would more or less be same as N8. This product could be priced around USD 450 at its initial launch...Cheers....

This is what i'm trying to get you peoples to understand.

Do you believe Nokia or do you believe this?: http://www.unwiredview.com/2010/05/03/interview-with-eldar-murtazin-part-1-nokia-n8-leak-market-prospects-and-symbian3/

There should ring a bell somewhere now that says something to you.

Ofc, now Symbian ^3 might be a little better before it's fully released, but that doesn't change the other facts about the Nokia N8.

you always have an exceuse we accept it, x10 has better cpu thats it and because of that cpu, there are much more people that will buy n8 over your x10. And because of that cpu, many see a future proof phone like your x10 buT their going to buy n8. Because of that cpu, the phone is faster than n8, and then n8 will sell ouT over your x10.and because n8 is slower than x10 i will definitely buYing n8 over 10.
Wow a fuTure proof phone x10.
How i wish n8 is water and dust proof. :p

Anonymous, 04 Jun 2010Nokia N8: 3G HSDPA, 10.2 Mbps; HSUPA, 2.0 Mbps WLAN Wi-... moreIf you wanna go that way, then fine.

                Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10:
                Screen: 4 inch (480x854)
CPU: Qualcomm QSD8250 Snapdragon 1 GHz
                RAM: 384 MB
OS: Android 1.6 (Soon Android 2.1 and 2.2)

                Nokia N8:
                Screen: 3.5 inch (360x640)
CPU: ARM 11 680 MHz processor
                RAM: 256 MB
                OS: Symbian ^3 (Symbian4??????????)

Yup, XPERIA X10 is much faster and better than Nokia N8.

Anonymous, 04 Jun 2010Nokia N8: 16 GB internal storage. Sony Ericsson X10: 1... moreAnd what does a 16 GB microSDHC card cost?, 20 bucks (dollar).

Yeah, that's really expensive i must say.

33 GB with storage on my XPERIA X10 would be enough for the next 3 years after how i use the mobile phone.

Ofc Nokia N8 will have more space than XPERIA X10, but that doesn't change the fact that a normal guy today doesn't really have so much to put into his Nokia N8 that he can fill the whole space up with stuffs on a 32 GB storage that he really will be using on his phone.

Ofc, someone will do that, but i'm sure there aren't really that many of those.

                    Nokia N8:
                    3G HSDPA, 10.2 Mbps; HSUPA, 2.0 Mbps
                    WLAN Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, UPnP technology

                    Sony Ericsson X10:
                    3G HSDPA, 7.2 Mbps; HSUPA, 2 Mbps
                    WLAN Wi-Fi 802.11b/g, DLNA

Yup, faster 3G speeds, and faster, with greater range WiFi on the Nokia N8.

                      Nokia N8:
                      16 GB internal storage.

                      Sony Ericsson X10:
                      1 GB storage
Card slot: microSD, up to 32GB, 8GB card included

That's right, less memory on the X10 for a more expensive phone. Go figure that one out. I guess more profit for Sony Ericsson makes them the winner here.

Tom-Helge, 04 Jun 2010When they use hardware in the Nokia N8 that was already out... morehaha i really enjoyed that video. Whoever that affected must be fuming and will probably punch the company's directors in the face if given the chance. I never knew they were that bad. Luckily for me, I have no problems with all my nokia phones. Just got an e72 yesterday and updated to the latest firmware with no problems. However people seem to be complaining about theirs. I had trouble with the email but that's because you have to first set it up using the operator's network and not wifi

Nokia N8 with 5 band 3G giving you more choices of carrier you want to go with, and better roaming, when you travel to other countries.

X10 gives you 4 bands. Snicker.

Nokia N8 is a World phone.

                          From the X10 specs:
                          3G Network

                          HSDPA 900 / 1700 / 2100
                          HSDPA 850 / 1900 / 2100 / 800 - X10a for Americas

Make sure when you buy the X10, you get it for your region. Don't have to worry about that with the N8. :D

Thanks for your advice Tom-Helge. I've thought about it, and looked at the specs and features for both devices. You made a good argument, but I've decided to get Nokia N8 instead.

[deleted post]I might not know much about Nokia N8, but this guy here knows pretty well what he's talking about: http://www.unwiredview.com/2010/05/03/interview-with-eldar-murtazin-part-1-nokia-n8-leak-market-prospects-and-symbian3/

And this is what i have been doing for a long time here now, giving you links with some explanations / facts and so on FROM GUYS THAT KNOWS WHAT THE HELL THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT.

Now, how are you gonna explain that what the main guy for Mobile-Review web page are saying are lies?.

That guy have tried that phone out now, and i believe his words 605758946792 times more than anyone else in here.

Believing in Nokia 100% is something that i would never do when you see this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vJpEuMidcSU&feature=player_embedded

                              How do you explain that.

Nokia told us all that the UI effects and everything there would be super smooth and fast.

But what did happen?. Yup, they lied to us.

N8 is a threat, or Tom would not be here. He would say who cares about that phone, and not be posting here day in and day out.

A huge number of people are interested in this phone, and it will out sell ANY Sony Ericsson device by a wide margin, simply because Nokia has a much greater mindshare in this world then them.

I personally cannot wait for the N8, simply because of it's nice well rounded set of great features for the price.

I do not care that it's CPU is not the most powerful. In short time, the X10's CPU will not be the most powerful, as another phone will come out beating that. Does that make that phone crap all of a sudden. Of course not.
