Tom-Helge, 30 May 2010And i forgot to say that the 680 MHz CPU in the N8 might be... moreAnyways I carry 2 mobiles at any point of time, I don’t trust on battery life.
Currently the WinMos X1 and Symbian E63 are driving my pockets.
Now I need to replace one of them.
If I buy X10, I would stop using X1 as 2 devices from SE is against my pocket policy.
If I buy N8, I have to drop E63 as 2 Nokia/2 symbians would be foolish.
I need best of both worlds. I am confused… Helpppppppp Me.

Tom-Helge, 30 May 2010And i forgot to say that the 680 MHz CPU in the N8 might be... moreYou are getting near to convince me to buy X10. And I seriously will end up in buying X10.
But then I might buy N8 as well which I don't want to.
I know I am struggling between X10 and N8 but I don't want to end up buying both and hence I would wait for N8.
I would read official reviews of N8 and then decide which one to go for. Till then discussion continues.

elge? Who's that ? Because he keeps ... moreAnd i forgot to say that the 680 MHz CPU in the N8 might be fast enough today or when it's getting released.
But when it's about the future it wont live for long. It's not powerfull enough to run Symbian ^4.
Nokia N8 is made for Symbian ^3 only. And Symbian ^3 wont live for long since Symbian ^4 is under development already. And will soon be out.
And because Symbian ^3 is the only confirmed OS it will run, then Nokia N8 isn't the best phone to buy if you want to have a phone with lots of support and lots of updates in the future.
Like me, i payed 530 euro for my Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10. Not cheap, but you'll get what you pay for. You get a really nice phone with amazing hardware specs and you'll get lifetime support on your XPERIA X10 to. And by that, the XPERIA X10 will live for a loooooooong long time.
Nothing beats that to be quite honest.
That alone is a BIG BIG factor on what mobile phone i will buy.

elge? Who's that ? Because he keeps ... moreDo you know why they sell most mobile phones in the world?, it's because they makes ALOT of mobile phones that are for kids and that.
And alot of peoples just want simple Nokia phones.
When it's about really advanced smart phones today, then very few is going for Nokia phones today.
The thing that Nokia sells most phones have nothing to do what brand that sells the best quality and advanced mobile phones today.
It's like saying that Toyota (car brand) here in Norway are selling most cars over other car brands here, like they do now. But that doesn't mean most of their cars are the best quality and spec'ed cars with lots of features and that in Norway.
This is just an example on why your points on that are invalid.

elge? Who's that ? Because he keeps going on about that dam x10, get over it dude , nokia owns over 40% of the cellphone market, all you haters get it in your head, if nokia are so bad then how come they are the best selling cellphone company in the world.. They rule..period and fact! End of story.. Now please save your hate speech for your own forums, this is a forum for nokia fans to say what they think of this mobile , and you people should not compare this to any other phone since its not released yet and 680mhz cpu is fast enough, this is a small phone not a big computer , and maybe symbian 3 needs more power..thats what the hardware accelerator is there for!

USB on THE GO. This and 5 3G bands puts this phone in a catgory of its own.

Here is an idea... since the iphone doesn't have a file system, you can hook it up to a Nokia N8 and see the files from there.............

facethedanger, 29 May 2010i just want to tell those who are talking about symbian ^3 ... morewhatever if they do so, it will just differ in naming not anything like they are skipping the generation of improvements. I wont be surpriced if they skip anything containing digit 4 as its unlucky for them. I have read like that somewhere. They have no model no. having this digit, also it was s60v5 directly after s60v3.. this is all in agreement.
