What matters most is the "GPU speed".. this thing has broadcom GPU which has 3-4 times the power of Cortex A8 used in milestone or Droid or 2 times the GPU power of SnapDragon.
It just shows how ignorant you are.

but with iPhone 4G? lets be re... moreThe N8 isn't for the iPhone crowd. Anyone with an unbiased view would have realised that by now. Heck it isn't even a flagship device, so I do not understand why people like you think that every phone Nokia launches is to “combat an iPhone”.
The N8 is more for the convergence crowd. People like me, who’d like to take decent pictures, great video and still be able to “do it all” just with one device. A better term for it, in this regard, would be an “Imaging Flagship” device, i’ll give you that.

To answer some questions from people here:
1) The battery can be removed. It may void your warranty, but you CAN remove it and replace it.
2) There IS a video light. This phone has both Xenon and LED.

Now, why would you use a 1Ghz proc, when 680Mhz of ARM 11 could do the work? that way, the phone use the power more efficient and will have a longer battery life.
Besides, if that doesnt fit you and you dont like the phone, then dont buy it, just buy the other phone using the 1Ghz you're asking for

Nokia messed it all up ...
It is true i didn't pay attention to processor speed, but why the hell the bettery is not removable .. shit ... don't want that phone anymore ... will go back to android Samsung Galaxy S i9000 (or SE Xperia X10 if applications can be installed on memory card)

Why GSMARENA did not ask Damian Dinning about cpu? such as, it is seems that every mobile manufacture start to have 1ghz snapdragon devices, why nokia did not have one on N8? how the speed and 3d GPU compared to IT OMP3 (SOHD or VIVAZ CPU)

It's really a bit pitty though. but compared to competition this N8 really glows. Let just hope that they can have xenon + triple LED in N8-01 in less than half year.

You were talking about the N8, not the N9.
N8 is the replacement of N86. It's focus mainly on camera.
The N9 will have the 1GHz processor, maybe a quad 1GHz processor as a replacement of N900/N97.
