Like I said, stick with your N8 if it's makes you happy. Fanboys are hard to reason with.
If you really think Anna was a major improvement then you truly are a Fanboy. By the way, technically you have to install a Beta app to get CAF in video recording so that didn't come with Anna as promised. Many people are actually unaware of the camera update from Betalabs, and wouldn't bother with Beta software anyway.
I wish people would stop going on about the N8's camera. I've taken some very good shots with mine but so what. It's camera on a phone and will never compete with a dedicated SLR. In fact, the camera is mostly a gimmick just to sell the phone. It's one of the main reasons why most people got an N8 in the first place.
Also, ask yourself why no other mobile manufacturer has bothered to try and outdo the N8's camera. I'll tell you why. They just don't care because 8 MP's on a mobile phone camera or already more than enough and 12 MP's is pointless.

It is major update because it not only brings improvd ui but also provids some grt software update for its camera as it got 30fps at continuous auto focus in video camera. Symbian is not outdated, as u said nokia wil suport symbian til 2016. Its true and nokias suport 4 symbian is clear.
My frnd, metal is betar dan glas for protection. Even iphone 4s cnt beat n8 in its features lyk 12mp camera, hdmi, usb on d go, fm transmtr, blututh, pc connectivity, hot swapble memry crd slot, dolby digital via hdmi and aftrel all it is a nokia, world leader in mobile phone manufacturing.

At what point in my original response to you did I praise the iPhone? That's right I didn't, because I can't stand Apple or the iPhone.
Anyway, a few facts for you. The iPhone 4 is made of plastic with a layer of glass.
Symbian is definitely old. It's been around since the 1980's for crying out loud, and still Nokia can't get it working right. That's why Nokia have decided to pull the plug on Symbian and cease all development and support by 2016.
Don't talk to me about Anna being a major update, because it isn't. At best it's a UI change with some iPhonesque icons. Belle won't be much better either. That is just an Android wannabe. But the fact remains, third party developers have given up on Symbian so no amount of OS updates will make Symbian a serious contender in the smart phone market.
So, by all means keep "N8'ing" (silly slogan) while the rest of the world moves on leaving Symbian behind.

Hello guys!....I know that the N8 has the best camera and superb video....Howewer, can you please tell me how fast is this phone,how often it lags...? Have the updates to Symbian Anna and Belle improved it's speed? Also how is the music quality with and without headphones? Thanks!

Are u nt in dis world. We got a major symbian anna update and we r waiting 4 symbian belle. Iphon is not suitable for majority. Only suits 4 minors who price dat phone like u. Aplle cnt beat nokia in its hardware as n8 got a anodised aluminium casing but iphon is made up of plastic. Dat y i m said its a plastic toy. N8 is much betr than iphone4. Keep n8ing.

I checked it out and it's the same old tired Fanboism. I'm pretty fed up with the "My phones better than your phone" nonsense.
I noticed that article didn't make any mention of the N8's stuttering old OS being obsolete and quickly becoming unsupported by third party developers.

i have used nokia phones all my life. i gotta tell you nokia makes the best phones on planet earth. My N8 never disappoints. I get all the functionality i want in a phone, even extras. With or without the annna or belle update, the phone is still good. Android is for little kids. used one for a day, returned it on the next. Go N8!!!!!!

I cannot agree with you regarding the N8's video recording capabilities. Mine records just fine with no dropped frames.
However, I can agree with you that Symbian is dead. There's no mistaking that fact.

after i saw iphone 4s video :-) i can saw nokia you are the king no one can beat you . near to two years >> samsung htc apple sony ericsson lg etc . . . can't beat nokia n8's camera :-) . even n8's processor is 680mhz really nokia you are great . 720p beats 1080p galaxy sII iphone 4s sony arc lg htc etc... even 1.4ghz in android not support 1080p >>
