I agree that the camera clarity is awesome, but buying a phone only on the basis of camera is not an appropriate decision. Nowadays many phones offer the similar functionalities of N8 i.e HDMI & USB ON-THE-GO. So, i request u to again think upon ur decision of getting this phone just now.

Vishal Desai, 19 Aug 2014Need help I m using n8 for last 3 years and updated to b... moreFilling up of the phone memory is too
common issue for this phone. Phone
          starts accumulating junk files when
internet is accessed. To overcome this
issue, u should first hack ur phone by
Nortan & then install mobile cleaner app, available in n8Fanclub. It Will help
keep your phone memory as free as
possible, reducing the risk of lagging or hanging or failure to open apps. Here is the link: http://www.n8fanclub.com/2011/...iles-

For me, this is still one of the best designs from Nokia, especially when compared to these new models like Lumia and Asha.

owning this phone 3 years and 6 months and very happy with it. camera, design, user interface, aluminum feel, compact size, cool apps and mods- everything that makes this phone so special. Just 2 weeks ago updated to xeon belle refresh and its even faster and more stable than official nokia os. Now that symbian almost extinct these phones become really valuable. Nokia N8 forever.

As a true Nokia and Symbian fan for a decade, I will not adopt WP8.1 OS or any Microsoft phone, the company that killed Nokia for their own benefit. WP is the reason why Nokia is dead. Now that Microsoft is intent on killing all the services for Symbian, I bought an Android phone as a backup. Android is better than the WP8.1 immature crap right Now. Nokia N8, my last Symbian and Nokia phone.

Hey guys, long time no post. But, as i switched to Lumia i had less interest in Symbian, still i tried to watch what happens further. As we can all see, after being stab't, Symbian is slowly fading away, by force. A lot of stopped services and they will not stop here unfortunately, they will kill the last breath of it, the store, by the end of this year. So, with this said, i think it is safe to say, there is no more symbian in this life anymore. Owning a Lumia after N8 was a bit of a pain, but surprisingly did not last to much. wp8.1 kind of fills most important gaps between it and Symbian. There are still, but not crazy important. As i entered in this 'new world' as they say, i entered in terrible battery era. Even though it is windows phone using a 1020 for photographs and internet is limited to maximum one day, if not even less, like 12 hours. MAybe the new devices are better, like lumia 1520, but i won't buy this kind of huge devices. 930 is announced to be even worst then 1020. So, this is the new smartphone era. As for androids, well, is the same, so in this times, nobody can be happy with the battery or praise theirs, cause they...just lie. Yes my phone can last for days if i use it 10 min per day, but this is not the purpose of a smartphone, isn't it? Do, i recommend you to go for lumia? Hmm, yes and no, the quality of this devices has Nokia written all over, and with the new 8.1 is almost, almost perfect. But, who wants customization and loads of options, hmm, well, wp may not be the best in this area, oh well, not at all. There is no other but android for that. But don't forget though, wp is still growing and developing introducing new futures. As for android, if you decide to go for one, hit some htc m8, at least has some premium material into it, and has the same price as all galaxy cheap plastic devices. If not, there is lumia and ios. Hmm, i'd say lumia all the way. So, this will probably be my last post here. Or better said, my last review.
