i wanted to buy this phone for so long,..but recently,..my fren told me that this phone is not really good...the wifi must connect via bluetooth,is it??? the message takes long time to send out, is it?? the phone colour is easily drop by a little scratch???really???pls help..

There's nothing called "better" between N80 and N73. ts just a matter of taste. If you like autofocus,labelled camera then go for N73 but if u want WiFi and a slide version then go for N80. Both are good but personally i like the N80 because of its design. N73 seems very cheap by its look. Not that stylish like N80.

Hey, ive been thikning about getting this phone for about 1 month now, and still havent decided if im going to buy it or not, an dthe reason is that ive been hearing rumors that, its sloww and freezes at times, is this true if so is there a solution to this thank you very much!!!!Ciau

is the picture taken using your N80? or its a picture you downloaded to your phone?

i want to know about RAM of N80 because when i opene pictures this message shown :
memory full please close application .
but in internal memory i have 20MB free and in memorycard i have 30MB .

hello ,
has anyone tried downloading ALARM MANAGER from www.MOBILE9.com it gives u a choice of daily alarm etc....did it work and is it free .i tried but not working..

Its really a awesome phone. Even if it doesnt has a touch screen/stick - we can use the navigation button to move the mouse pointer on the screen - that gives a reality of brosing over the phone as similar in a computer. The speed is quite good when you use a 1GB mini SD card, but the phone performance degrades as we increase the phone memory. It had a small font size in messages, but the new FIREWARE fixes the problem with a bigger font. More important, is its WiFi and other wireless technologies like Bluetooth and Infrared. You no need to think for a while, you can use nay type of medium to transfer data from your phone to another phone or to a computer. Even if you spend much money, its worth for it. :-)

this phone has EDGE support.

i understand what you mean.
but what im trying to say is i wont be liable for any phone malfunction it will cause if any person tries to install software from taht website because one of my friend's N80 got repaired after installing a software designated for S60ver3 but not fully compatible with N80.
so im speaking from experience..
thats why i said "install at your own risk".

Answer:
A) if you're not going to use 3G or UMTS, change your network settings to GSM mode only.
B) make sure your bluetooth is switched off when not in use.
C) for your GPRS setting, make sure its set to "When Needed" instead of "When Available".
D) make a complete charge and discharge cycle for your phone 3 times.
2. Very slow in sending messages.
Answer
A) Download "SMS Accelerator" on the Nokia website and install it on your N80
B) or you can update your phones firmware to the "latest" version.

When u try to install an application it does not have to be fully compatible with N80 to run on it as long as it is designed for S60 v3, this message displays just to warn you of potential malfunction of the application which is merely never the case...after all one can always uninstall.

the blue flashing light below the N80 logo indicates that the phone is in power saving mode.
this also reminds the user that the phone is not turned off even if you do not see anything on the screen.

This phone is so nice, but I have the following problems:
1. Battery is running very quickly, even I am not talking too much
2. Very slow in sending messages.
3. In the call logs, some times if I will like to call person, it will go to the person before it or after it.
Already I reload the soft wear, but the problems become worse after reloading.
I will be grateful if any one could advise on these issues.
