hi people ive been looking and researching this fone for a while and i think i look and buit was really good but it is alot of money and i just wana no does it really worth bying this fone for this money can i get some opions PlzzZz, thank you all

It seems that your problems with the browser and the memory_card are not memory related. check your firmware version ( *#0000# ) and if its
V3.0614.0.1 31-03-2006 then surely you need a firmware upgrade.
Note that when the phone was released, the initial firmrware version was very buggy. Taking your phone to an official Nokia dealer, will change your firmware to a newer version applicable in your countries.

Did you by any chance try to remove the phone from your tight jeans by holding it from the display?????? Cause There is no other way appart from opening the phone, that such a cable would come out.

Can someone help me with camera shutter sound? I want to turn off my N80's camera shutter sound. So, I called and asked Nokia's people in Hong Kong about this matter. They told me by turning off keypad tone / warning tone on general/silent/outdoor/meeting the shutter sound would go away completely. But it still did not work. In fact, I asked them to grap a N80 and turn off the shutter sound with me on the phone. It worked on theirs N80. They suggested me to take my N80 to get checked. I truly beleve there is nothing wrong with my phone as this is a brand brand new phone. Can anyone help me here? By the way, I got this phone as a gift from my Chinese friend in LA one week ago and this phone is able to change to Chinese language.

Yes I have this problem all the time, I also notice that there are menu item missing like the whole phonebook setting's is just no there. wierd little phone any ideas.

Hi there,
Anyone have the problem where if the browser crash while surfing and the phone restart itself, the phone cannot recognise the memory card anymore. I have to switch off the phone, eject the card, insert the card and start the phone.
Is this a common problem?

The phone is great, but after 4 hours music the batterie is over. My wayfinder-software dosent work, while the bluetooth stream from GPS-reciever stops after same minutes. The phone is sendet to Nokia. I hope they fix the bug. He' Nokia, test your new phones a little longer, then you would see, that the SMS-display is also buggy. After same lines of text writing, you can never see the left letter. This small letters can only read a eagle, where is the cursor, what is point and comma.

to zodiac: where's the flat cable? is it under the sliding part of the n80? im also thinking of selling mine to get the n93. im annoyed by the silver face getting fingerprints all the time! plus im excited by the TV out feature of the n93 to view pictures and even surf the web on a TV screen!

i bought the phone 5 weeks ago everything was going on ok,until the flat cable went off,which means no more screen,it cost 110$ to fix it and it wasnt available so i sold the phone for 200$...so i got the 6233 nokia.didnt like it....i am thinking ogf getting the n73 since it is like the n80 but without a flip..
