All I read about this phone are quite astounding, but I like to confirm what is true.
Anyone should please state the processor speed of this phone; also, does the phone truly have a FM radio or it's just one of this virtual radio that would require link-up or logon to a GSM service provider?
PLEASE CLARIFY STATING ONLY THE TRUTH.

Prototype! Nokia may change this soon! There was a guy on here earlier saying that for Nokia to make money, they arn't going to make the perfect phone and spread its specs around the N series! Which is true but wish it wasn't! One thing for sure they have to do though because then this phone really will suck is the battery life! And yeah the 3MP camera doesn't have the carl zeises lenses but should have auto focus on any new camera phone as that should be standard on all new phones and picture quality should match the K750i because pictures I have seen so far havn't been amazing!

5x digital zoom for video that sucks doesnt it, it shouuldve been 20x zoom for video also just like the n70

Wow they are very nice pictures trish! Is that still a prototype version of the N80? Cos it's camera quality doesn't look as good as the other phones :\

sorry guys.. but im a newbie when coming to phones but.... im jus wonderin if N80 is released in april, people on ebay are auctioning these phones. Are these phones the real deal? cuz I was plannin on buying it from a seller in Belgium...

hi guys currently i am using sony erricson w800i which is the best hand set i have ever had can u guys tell me that n80 has the same sound quallity that w800i has when we listning songs via hand free can any one tell me that plz...i am waiting 4 ur answers guys iam planing to buy this one later,

In response to some popular queries and questions.
When will the phone be available and how much will it cost?
The phone is scheduled for the first quarter of 2006. The likely release date is March 2006, but it may be into April before the phone become available in significant volumnes, and may take further time to be available via your operator. The unsubsidised cost of the phone is €500 Euros ($590 USD, £350 GBP). While no defintive carrier information has been announced it is expected to be widely available. The FCC have approved a Cingular branded single band WCDMA 1900 version which will be available in the US. Other carrier variants, such as a non WCDMA version, may follow.

trish: Nice find! Those are some awesome pictures! Probably the best pictures I've seen of N80 yet. I especially like the comparison shots... Damn, that guy get to try all Nseries (exept N92) at once!! Lucky bastard...

Curious:
I agree that screensize is more important than resolution. But the gap isn't that big (espeically since N92's screen is just a little bit bigger, and because N80's res is quite alot sharper).
If you think stereo speakers are essential for mobilegaming then you better not get the N92, coz even though it has stereo output, you wont HEAR the stereo sound when u use it! The speakers are just too damn close eachother.
N92 may have "louder" and "clearer" playback through the speakers (through the headset they have the EXACT same quality). This is because 2 speakers are always better than one. Even if it's 2 mono speakers. But it depends on a lot of factors. None of us can know for sure which will have better sound. If you want the phone with the best soundquality get N91 instead, cause even though it has a mono speaker, it playes louder, clearer and better (quality wise) compared to both N92 and N80. It has a very big loudspeaker and better soundhardware.
What I don't get, is your comparison between the "media phone" 7710 and the "connectivity phone" 6680. It doesn't prove anything for N92 and N80. They are completely different models. Also, N80 is more of a mediaphone than N92 you know!! It has UPnP which means it can stream MEDIA to a TV/Hi-Fi/Stereo etc. This neat media advantage is unfortunatly not present in the N92 model. Neither can you say that N92 will have better sound than N80, since, as we all know, they both have the same soundhardware!
Lorna: Yes, I know you can get it unlocked. So what? You said N80 would be released in April. Well it might in UK, I wouldn't know. But April is not the date of the official release. It's late Feb or March. That's all I'm saying. I don't see how unlocking has anything to do with this.
