the phone is simply amazing. Screen resolution is perfect, wifi is functional, and the camera is surprisingly crisp, all in all a great phone with great functions.

Id rather go for N80.coz,it has wireless lan..unlike k810

N80 is a great phone! The resolution and the sound quality is very good. Although the battery life is really the problem for this phone. But all in all, this is a great phone.

on N80 and K810:
If you want to have a very nice camera phone and excellent music, you should go for K810. It's cybershot which is actually a good brand for digicams.
But if you are a very techie person, go for N80. It has wifi, an above average cam, nice music, and you can easily install various applications.
I used to own K800 (which is not really far from K810). But when I got hold of my N80, I was overwhelmed by its various functionalities, from the most basic phone functions to complicated pda capabilities. I was able to download an office application that allows me to edit and create word and excel documents.
This phone is really good!

arkie,
in order to make ur n80 shutter sound active, u should go to menu & choose imaging.
then click on "camera", after that click the "option" butter.
then click on "setting" & choose the related item u want.

I'm looking to get a N80 and would just to like to use hotspots for internet access. The internet edition comes with extra functionity like, I believe VOIP capability. If I just wanted to use it in hotspots do I need the internet edition? Can you upgrade to internet edition by FLASHING if I wanted to have that functionlity?

I've bought N80 back to Feb 2007, and last week i've update the mobile software from ver4.0 to ver5.0 to have the internet tel. (which is used for free inte'l calls through WIFI connection)
I was successful in activating the WIFI connectivity but the internet tel service did not see the WLAN connection. any one can help me with this issue... as i'm going to travel end of the month and would like to use it during my trip and it is very cheap (free:)) communication.

have updated my fone with the latest version of the software. The new version consumes a lot of battery.Have checked the WIFI settings and Network settings.alls normal.but still.does some one knows the solution for it.

go to your profile and turn off say callers name and it will be rectified.

Hi guys, urgent help needed - when receiving a call, the phone "announces" the caller's name (I believe this is called a "voice tag", but I'm not sure). Anybody knows how to turn this off?? Thanks!

hi, ive heard that the nokia n80s cord for opening breaks very easily, and that the screen is very flimsy and breaks easily..is all of this true or not??

Outside it take much better picture than the k800i cause i have them both... so i know.. but the WLAN dosen't work proberly...
