plz help me when i use N82 after some times i get hot by back side why these happen.

The previous post includes that some one hacked the fp2 and installed it on the n82 fp1. Is it really possible? cuz i researched a lot about this but every one was like that it cannot be done. FP2 sure is amazing. I specially love the active display feature where one can shift the bar from top to side.
Let me know if it can be done somehow without damaging the phone.

N82 another wicked phone that i have tested more or less my mate has one and i liked it.
the only thing was the Keypad i didnt like. iv tested better then them
anyway nice phone
the best bit was the Camera! Wohoooo as good as my K810i the Xenon flash is equally the same no different.
The Loudspeakers arnt as loud as N95 8GB's but then N82 is a camera phone mostly
N-Gage feels better on N95 8GB to. (iv tested a N95 8GB aswell)
overall Nice all-Round phone i would own one if i had the chance..
but i think il wait till the N95's 100% Succesor comes... N82 is more of a improvement over the Original N95.
so il wait till the Proper successor of N95 comes.

After taking the n82 out of freezer condensation could form and cause water damage,,so not reccommended..Good idea initially...

yet now i have not buyed the n82 but i am thinking to buy,but please can anyone tell me about the sound quality of this handset

@ abual foud,,its a good job you dont have samsung ,,their z500 nearly melted my pillow and my d900i gets hot after a while...The n82 does warm in 3g slightly but warms up even more with full res continuous video recording,,most of the time in d900i battery area is coolish its the proccessor area thats hot an its same with n82,,..Your computer gets hot and so do theses devices the smaller and more powerfull they get,,most of the heat comes from your hand which warms the device and then any heat produced by the phone multiplies as heat escape routes are already hot,,its nowt to bother about,,wait till you have had a 2 hour conversation your ear is bright red and hot and so is the phone,,most phones will do this...
Also the proccessor is running at 0.34GHz and is in cramped conditions and battery output power is 3.7v x 1.05A = 3.9watts which is a lot and since the only output is some light some sound and a signal all the rest is heat???

I bought N82 from 10 days ago,during normal useing i felt its tempreture becomes too high, i thought maybe from battary more charged, and after 2-3 days i felt its becomes too heat, i tried to switched on and off, switched of the WIFI, and still heat, and immediatly i took it to the dealer and it by hem from 4 days till now they didn't feed me back what about the phone.
the phone is too good in application but there is I think something wrong in designing of its electric feeding ciruit.
I heard also from my friend who has same phone that they had same problem.
this was my story about N82.

I used n82 at the mobilephone shop, messaging is easy eventhough it have small keys, dpad is alright also, music output from phone speaker is not very good but connected to quality speaker it sounds really nice. I belief I will get n82 to replace my 1 yr old SE k610i

can nyone tell me the code cause I want to reset my phone & it wants the default code for reset. nyone knows?

u can update the firmware in the following 2 ways.
1) from phone: go to the Menu > Tools > Utilities > Device mgr. then press Options > Check for updates.
2) Nokia Software Updater: u can use Nokia Software Updater which u'll find in the Nokia Nseries PC Suite.

there is a guy named "me" in these opinions saying he has upgraded his feature pack 1 to feature pack 2 by downloading FP2 SDKs...
this is his original message.
"I've updated my N82 to feature pack 2 by downloading new FP2 SDKs, it's excellent. Don't try this if u're not a programmer though."

i guess individual comments are subjective, but however, it sometimes also depends on your luck, whether the hp u get is a good set or not. We can conclude that if one set of n82 got problem, the rest of the n82 also got problem... right? I am a hp freak, changes hp very often, btw SE and Nokia, but overall, nokia is still on the lead. Tried samsung hp, only once or twice... it cant beat nokia or SE.
i guess i wil b holding n82 for the time being and wil not changed, because i finally fell in love with this phone.

I too am sticking with titanium version for now just waiting for v20 software to appear for my n82..IF i was about to buy n82 i still think i would pick titanium so i am satisfied all round..AS things cruise along tho shortly thoughts will be towards my next ultimate device & fancy seeing what rim does in next 6 months besides clamshell device,, if they up the camera side of things i would not mind trying one..I have never had a b/b..After all no-one here can predict what will be in the stores for xmas !!!

Hi...
I have a prob. I bought a titanium n82 2 days ago & already updated the firmware from v11 to the latest v20 with the help of nokia software updater. after update the app. respond even faster than before! this update also included the geo tagging in camera app.! great!!
the prob. is in the flash. when i choose the flash mode to "ON" it didn't remain on! it works like "Auto" mode! did ny1 have this prob. can ny1 help me!

Thanks Bro for lightening my mind, I'm just worried why you sold your Titanium one and buy an N82 Black Edition, I just thought that the black is better than the Titanium one...heheh. For me, of course, it would be nicer if the company itself upgraded the firmware than you just doing it by yourself. But I already bought the Titanium one, if the Black N82 is louder than the original one then so be it. So far, I am completely satisfied with my Titanium one. Thanks Father Vince. I think you like the Black N82 because it's more masculine...heheheh...but I had an N73ME for a year more now and will sold it soon, so a Titanium one is nice for a change.

NOKIA N82 is only phone with display colors up 16.7 million colors......is superb.
