Anyone know "why" Nokia delayed the black version? It just doesn't make sense to me..

Got my N82 for 2 months now. Buy it in Mauritius itself at Nokia reseller. Never had any problem. Never freeze and with that loads of 3rd party app... The camera and video recording is just amazing. There are times you get confused that the photos are taken by a cellphone. The keypad is not as bad as lots of people are sayin. You'll get used very quickly. For a symbian phone it is so quick. I forgot to tell that the xenon is so powerfull like real digital cam. Plus lots of features. Highly recommended cellphone. You will enjoy it surely...

Geys, this mobile is incredible and very fast.
i bought 1 yestrday and the camera are much better than the se k850, it has this stability mode which makes the picture very stable from the slow hand shaking.
also a great dict. added which gives alot of languages waiting to be translated,
the audio hs is very good which is not expected for non music device.
go a head and get 1..u will not regret it..

this phone rocks!!! so coool!!! it is much better if you would buy this phone this phone is good when you see it in personal!!! and the features and design of this phone is good too... Nokia N82 Rocks my world...

It doesn't matter whether it is Sony Ericsson or Samsung or Motorola and what I'm trying 2 say is the qualtiy of the phone were talking and the features of this phone is cool and the design is beautiful and Go see it for yourself and this phone is really good!

For all those concerned with the key pads saying that they are hard to press or texting will be a problem. I hope you guys are not reffering to those dummy phones being displayed at the shops, ther's a very big difference from the original phone!
If you guys would read from the "true owners" of this phone, they all said including me, will tell you that you're going to get use to it in no time. Someone even posted that he/she got used to it in 30 min. It took me 2-3 days. Again, the key pads on the orginal N82 are OK! It won't be an issue in the long run...that's a fact not an opinion! :)

Don't even dare to say something regarding my post, you know, that we all know, that you don't have this phone...I don't want to call you a liar but again, that's a fact and not an opnion!

Dani you are either lying or misinformed. I doubt you have ever touched an n82. According to gsmarena the SE k850i is 118 grams, and the w960 is 119 grams. The Nokia n82 is lighter than them both at 114 grams.
Get your facts right before posting, otherwise you are just being a waste of time and space.

The N82 looks reasonable in comparison to the N81, shame the features are not as comparable to the N95 8gb. Oh .. what a shame ..

I got my N82 from eBay. I was surprised when I found out that it's MADE IN FINLAND.New and Unlocked!

i saw a N82 today first of all i like the Design sort off not totally
the Keypad really put me off it was hard to type on and felt uncomfortable
and the phone is really FAT and felt heavy like a Brick but not totally
K850i is slightly thinner and lighter same with the W960i which is as slim as the 6300
well such a little thing spoils such a good phone N82 !!!
but then No Phone is Perfect!

I have the N82 since 2 months now, and the battery life is average good, even comparable to my old K800.
