musicphone, 04 Nov 2008i've found the article about oled lifespan in one of the pr... moreit's smart to read such articles but it's smarter to go deeper ... just calculate about what you read ... even if you use your phone with switched on screen 3h/day (watching movies) it represents 1100h/year so 13 years of lifespan ... what the aim of 60 000h ??? totally ridiculous, in our society if you keep your phone 3 or 4 years it will be a great performance ! not only because you will like to have new one but for example because your battery will be dead or just because your phone will have fall several times and will be dying, so just think a few minutes to what you read and you'll see that this spec is totally useless ...

Blackberry Bold - I like the ease of accessing multiple email accounts.

Nokia N85 - I like the camera, FM radio, (does it cost money to receive the FM stations?)and music; but can the unit access my multiple account emails easily with out to logon an logout every time?

i've found the article about oled lifespan in one of the previous posts in womworld.com/nokia. it says there that oled lifespan is around 14,000 hours and lcd is around 60,000 hours. i'm sticking with an lcd screen equipped phone. i think oled is just a nice and enticing gimmick. but i need something that will last for a long long time. it's either n96 or n95 8gb. otherwise, i'm going back to n82.

AMOLED is a good piece of technology and it has evolve through time. They have already find ways to extend its life span to the maximum and I'm buying this phone primarily because of AMOLED..

anyways you can deal your phone in greenhills, they have a lot of phon swaping going on there, just be cautious and cunning, deal with them inteligently.

can every1 stop babbling about the OLED lifespan, as even the life cycle of OLED is 1~2 Years, they are half the price of a normal LCD.

                              "Price in Qatar = 479 EUR = 2200 QR
Price displayed in GSM Arena = 430 Eur = 1,978 QAR

Wer can i get for this price????"

Bro, every country have its own direct distributor ... 430 EUR if direct from country main importer . If u get it from country's distributor then ur price will be more than 430 EUR

please note all those people who are worried about the OLED of N85, nokia is already using this display in its 8800 ARTE since december 2007. there are no complaints even after a year. so go ahead and buy N85 without any fear.
