Anonymous, 13 Sep 2008stop that now.... n91 have great bass with nice treable,wel... moren91 had the best sound quality that was before. but now the merit goes to samsung i8510 innov8 now that has the best sound quality. samsung has their own dsp sound chip that uses dnse 2.0 technology, same with their home stereo system. i can't think of any electronic gadget that samsung does not do. even memory chips, processors, camera lens and sensors, computer hardwares, audio chips, samsung does it all. so it's not impossible for samsung to create a very good, if not the best, mobile phone.

zero cool, 13 Sep 2008yeah made in china nokia ohones simply are not reliable as ... moremade in china and made in finland nokia phones are just the same. the hardware and raw materials used are just the same. the only difference is from where they were assembled into finished products.
samsung products are of high quality. infact, makes the best slider phones in the world. unlike nokia sliders which wobble and loose and then eventually break into halves, samsung sliders are very solid and the sliding mechanism is smooth, their products last longer than nokia phones. aside from phones, samsung makes the best electronic appliances. all their products are elegant and classy. that's why they are the number 1 electronics company and the number 2 mobile phone manufacturer in the world.

Dani , 13 Sep 2008and im sorry to say this N85 will probably have worst quali... moreOh, Dani boy. You sounds like a cry baby, begging attention by dissing Nokia phones in a Nokia forum. If you would have read reviews made by people who has some knowledge of the latest mobile phones you would have noticed these comments:

            Mobile review, N85 vs. C905;
"Sony Ericsson tout their C905 as the ultimate phone with an 8 Mpix camera onboard, but when you think of it, retailing at a similar price point, it loses to the N85 on every major account (bar the camera) - music quality, radio, extra applications, screen, navigation, you name it. Basically, these phones are in two completely different leagues that happen to have comparable price tags."

            Mobile review, N85 vs. INNOV8:
"N85 isn't that much of a revelation, but in terms of price/quality ratio it is Nokia's, and let's face it, the market's finest solution to date. Basically, you won't find a phone below 600 Euro that can take on the N85 functionality-wise (while the Samsung INNOV8 can give the N85 a rough run for its money, its price tag is a lot heftier)."

And when speaking of Nokia N-series mid-range/Flagship phones, we are not comparing them to SE/Samsung phones. Nokia mid-range N-serie phone >> SE flagship phone.

you would be surprised just how ahead china is ..

China makes half of the worlds products..

they are the MASTERS of making things.

              they have quality .

              so please dont diss china

Anonymous, 13 Sep 2008stop that now.... n91 have great bass with nice treable,wel... moreMan get a grip seriously..

if someone said to you ..WALKMAN Phones are the best ..

you would start a argument just for the sake of your N91 LOL!

im not dissing or Nokia or anything..

my point is ..Walkman Phones produce the best sound quality on any phone today.

                just admit it!!!!!!

it was Sony Ericsson who invented the 'Music Phone'

Nokia copied them with the 3250 at that time

Nokias first attempt for a Music phone was that 3350 or something..which looked like a radio LOL

W800i came along and changed the thinking of Music Phones....which had the best sound quality at that time on any phone.

im sorry but Nokia uses DSP Chips to improve sound

SONY knows how to engineer sound quality ..theyv been masters of it for along time .

fyi, only samsung produce low quality products ;) not Nokia

ebrahim, 11 Sep 2008A Big question to nokia company whts the different between ... moreNokia has 3 high end phones coming very soon. The first one is midrange Nokia 5800 XpressMusic which will be the very first handset running on the new S60 Touch UI platform (Symbian OS 9.5 S60 3rd Ed. FP3). The second is the flagship touch based Nokia N98 also running the S60 Touch UI and is the very first S60 equipped with a "VGA" display. Nokia 5800 XpressMusic and Nokia N98 will be announced in London on October 2nd. The third is the 8 megapixel flagship Nokia N97, a slider phone with a rotating camera at the top of the phone. It will be announced in Q1 2009. The odd thing here is N98 will get announced and released prior to N97, a clear indication that Nokia is not after the 8MP race, but they are focusing on their touchscreen phones first.
