Many people here don't seem to understand that though the N9 doesn't have any applications of its own so as to speak, it is an open source device and has Qt support. Also, with an application called alien dalivk, it is capable of running android apps.
Now to the point of comparing it to the SGSII. The SGSII is an amazing smartphone but the fact is that though it touts a dual core processor, it only uses about 40% of its actual power. If it ran on 100%, it would over heat and the battery would drain very fast.It's like a cheetah, it can run fast, but only at short bursts. An about the UI being better than harmattan, you can see clearly in the videos that harmattan is simple and to the point. It's less convuluted than android and light-years ahead of touchwiz.
The only place where dual cores can actually compete is gaming, but that isn't a big factor because the games that are on the market right now run perfectly well on single core 1 ghz processors and even if they make super-graphic intensive games, it would be quite a waste, because the extra money you spend on buying a dual-core droid can actually be spent on buying an actual gaming device.

Galaxy S2 price in my country its USD700. Same price as SE Xperia Arc.
The X7 = USD455. Similar price as Galaxy SL, SE X10(original).

after my extra ordinary n8...surely i will buy this phone...n9...it's so wonderful...the os is so good...the phone is superb n fantastica....wow n9...my next phone surely....

i have n8 n i love it so much...before n8 i use c7...iphone 4...android froyo...but n8 is the best...it's gorgeous dark grey...superb phone...my phone is perfect...no problem...n8 is very extra ordinary...

As the n8 before it released, people say that n8 is the best , will be the iPhone killer , better than Sam glx, but what happens to n8 now, it's a total failure,
We wait until it launched and hope it's is not another failure just as n900 and the n8.

That seems to be a great answer from Nokia, to androids, let see if the app stor is going to be so big as andorid. I am really excited to see it working, but 1 ghz processor and ram its really good.

ATTENTION PLS Dont but any nokia phone. it's Suck look at their OVI store there is no 3rd party applications like facebook tweeter etc... This is crazy i think OVI is down... Nokia is such a looser.. go for android or apple.
