I don't personally really use apps for anything on my N8, don't expect that to change on my future phones either.

AnonD-7829, 25 Jun 2011Elop has said that the Meegos/N9s success is totally irrele... moresomething in elops statement gives me the idea that nokia still intend to continue with qt. He pointed to them continuing with the ideas n interface of the n9. The are very probably working on a new platform. A succesor to the n9 with similar ui but running neither meego nor wp.

It really shouldn't matter to a potential n9 buyer whether or not nokia plans to mainstrean its os. It supports qt so it won't get any less apps than it would otherwise plus theres the developer community.

this device is a test mouse which its fate depend on customers. if meego is a success, Nokia will not fool enough to stop this. more apps will come, a new meego market will build.
