So, only video possibilities are still to tell about. The format is 3GP and the frequency forms 15 frames/minute, the max resolution is 352x288 pixels. In the max resolution and quality the pictures is ragged, video is not of a good quality. And no improvements are foreseen. The examples of Nokia video also show all the possibilities are impossible to drag out. During video recording 8x zoom works.

The 2 MP camera possibilities of the N90 are quite good. The picture quality is one of the best on the market and there are not many models. The direct comparison with the Sony Ericsson K750 shows better detail processing in case of the last device but worse work in a close distance. The presence of glass optics by Carl Zeiss is more a marketing measure than a necessity. As for me, the optics doesn't improve the picture quality cardinally.

Changing the interface to the one with clearer icons and fast mode switch is a significant step forward especially against a background of the previous devices. Video recording remains low-priority function, phone productivity is not enough for qualitative data flow encoding. Some improvements in this field will be observed only in autumn next year.

XpressPrint is an interesting function to mention. A photo may be sent to an HP printer and it will be printed in no time. The printing quality is not bad, rather appropriate for a 10x14 cm homemade photo. By the way, the printed photos by ?750 and N90 do not differ greatly which is opposite to viewing on a PC screen. I'll remind even unclear photos look perfect on the N90's screen due to the screen possibilities.

The Sony Ericsson K750 and Nokia N90 are of great interest as the first representatives of the 2MP cameraphones and what is the main they are curious to compare. Only cameras may be compared in these models. All the rest characteristics are much different and the devices belong to different price segments. As for such characteristics as size and camera possibilities the N90 belongs to the Sony Ericsson S700 class. Nokia developers took well-taken solutions of the model and, particularly, the interface organization.

Considering Nokia attempts of launching new solutions as soon as possible the N90 will go under this concept. No picture quality improvements will happen despite the hopes of many brand worshipers (but if it happens, it will be those statistic 5 percents). Why to improve quite a deserving quality that is the maximum for today?

To Joehanz, EDGE at 236kbps is NOT UMTS. The phone will select EDGE connection when UMTS is not available. UMTS is WCDMA 2100 as a global standard and its' data speed is @ 384kbps.

Only in Japan where 4G is available then connection speeds @ 1mpbs are made possible.

Batt life in mobile-review.com's review was said to be one day because of the phone's constant restarting.

That's the main reason for the delay of the phone as the developers had to improve the software and prevent it from getting restarted all the time.

You can try it on your series 60 phone. Try swtiching it on and off for 10 times a day. The batt will be completely flat before you know it.

I'm a phone collector so I kinda know these stuff. N90 will be my 20th phone! Cannot wait.

I will post a summarized review on my own online blog @ www.kel88blogspot.com so be sure to check it out!

i think this is a great phone it has basically all the features a phone can have; people are winning about the battery life all the time, i charge my phone very day i just have the charger by my bed and plug it in every night before i go to bed. and if u are a bisiness man have one of those car charger things and it wont go dead, and if worst comes to worst just by one of nokias super special batteries that last for ever, or do what my friend does and have to batteries so when one goes dead put the other one in.!!!!!!!

This phone is great. It has many functions including supporting 3G. However it is a bit bigger than others. So does anyone know the price for this phone ? i think it will be quite costly. When N90 and N70 will be release ? would buy each phone at the time release and trade in once another phone released. Anyone, pls list out the advantages and disadvantages of this phone. Wanna make comparison to Z800 and E Ten

I just wanna ask about the data speed of the phone. In the spec. area , it's stated that the data speed for this phone is 236.8kbps (EDGE), if this is UMTS mobile phone, why the speed cannot be in the speed range of 384kbps (UMTS).?

I already booked This model and maybe will get it this Friday in Kuala Lumpur. But for me .. this phone seems like very expensive and a bit Bulky when i compared with my z800i. It is Rm 3100 (malaysia) . Well, about the fm radio , i think maybe nokia will realese another version for the phone that have that function. It is market strategy . They're always upgrading the function to attract the customer . Well, i just wanna get the phone for my collection eventhough i'm big supporter of SonyEricsson. lol

People, it's completely too BIG!! Oh my God! It seems like Frankstein. Sorry to say that. I'm no sure if I wanna buy it, I can't immagine my self playing games in it, I'll tire my hands to be holding this handset. N90 must be a monster opended.

Why no radio? It should be complete with radio, but Nokia forgot to add it. THAT'S TOO BAD!

I know that N90 is a dream, but I think Samsung P850 n Z700 will killer that! Principally in dimensions and 3mpx cam. We're talking about mobile handsets not about a monster!! I can't immagine that like a mobile. We can't hide it in our hands or in our pockets or in our bags. We will always feel the weight of this!

                                    The N90's size is un-usual.

I prefer to wait for SAM Z700.

Nokia has generalised the release date as the mid of July which has meant assumptions over many countries that the release date would be on the 15th of July.

It will be launched anytime between 15th to the end of the month.
