looks gr8 i wonder why so many ppl r complaining abt this phone though it has got everything one can imagine,3g,MMC.but i do have a question though they have been advertising abt this phone and they say u can watch T.V on it is it true or just a big lie???

I have not bought the phone,but it looks big and bogus.From comments read so far the shape is unfeminine in style. There's need for a redesign of the shape.

This fone looks cool but is quite big. The Fold and twist option of it easilty loosens and eventually wears out rendering the fone broken.. How sad for nokia.. And The camera of SEK750, W800, and others is far better than this... Buy a W900 Instead...

This is the best phone every, whoever is having problems with the phone does not know how to work with a nokia smartphone.Come on people this phone is not bad at all trust me, Get it.

I recently bought the N90 sim free, and was not too pleased to find out that the font size on the text could not be altered I saw in the forum that this is possible through some third party I would appreciate a contact please of where i could get this done, thanks for any info , Daryl

i just got this phone a week ago! and i'm going to return it tomorrow! i'm thinking to buy a SE W900! N 90 Costs too much and for the record... This phone really sucks!
Do not vibrate
and the 2 mp camera! gets blur all the time
loudspeaker sucks!
it took so long to do anything with this phone!
sooo anyone whos thinking to buy this phone.... Good Luck

I have a nokia N90 and it is great. I love it. I wanted it from the first time i saw it. The camera is great. But can anyone ,please, tell me how can i protect my pics. I don't want anyone see them on my phone. A password, something? Please mail me. Thank you.

I dont know how to about this latest handphone, it's really makes me suprised. It is unique especially its design and that makes me want to buy it.I dont care about there others opinion about it.It is up to everybody opinion about that, but what can I say that I reallly love this handphone.

A phone which goes on Loudspeaker at ANY TIME of a phone call...
i spoke to someone in nokia Software is coming in 2 Weeks which will fix it all

It is a nice phone as per style and good for show offs. But till the time I use it I won't comment much on it.All I want to say is the size should be a little small.

You make me laugh! The phone suddenly switched to loudspeaker when you were on the phone ey? So were ur eardrums damaged? LOL! Previously you were praising the phone & would argue with anyone who insults the phone & now what?!

DONT BUY N90
I GOT IT
my BACK on it broke the cover thing and everytime i lift it it comes off
i was in the car and 6 times it turned itself off and messed up
im going to b selling it
ill even buy N70 untill N91 and N80 come out
this phones software is just UNSTOPPABLE im on the phone and it goes loudspeaker
today GAllary didnt open up
its got a midn of its own
its nice
its takes sexy pics
its a nokia :)
but its buggy

In my own humble opinion :
ok, Ive'd been dying to have this phone since I first saw it. first I pretended that I like 7710. YES! 7710 is a good phone and my friend AUREA ALTEZ bought the phone last December 20 2005. It was a great phone with alot of things to do. Battery is bad but the wide screen is fantastic and the camera is better than 7610. But it is SLOW when loading pictures but the LOUDSPEAKER is the BEST and I mean THE BEST in all the phones here in the philippines BASS ELEMENTS ARE VERY CLEAR.
When we went to Greenhills to buy 7710 i fell in love with N90, she was closed and I asked for the vendor if i could feel it and turn it on. WOW...... It was fantastic. It took forever to open up though, like 1 minute, but it didnt matter.
I was familiar with Series 60 Menu and i wasnt impressed by it, but the fact that it is so big and looks expensive (i like big and expenssive phones) it looked so AMAZING to me.
Screen was fantastic, and the small outer screen was MYSTERIOUS but the resolution is not that good but much better than 7210, 6610 or 6100 but not better than 6230.
So after a month I bought myself a N90 with Firmware Version 3.0535.4.3 01-09-05 RM-42 Made in China.
Menu is like N70 or 6680. So nothing's new right? But the Screen is Really good. the Resolution is QVGA so those icons of the softwares available for other series 60 phones they are enlarged and show pixels and appear blurry.
I like taking pictures and this is what this phone is all about, IMAGING. Camera is AMAZING no doubt. K750 maybe much better but i chose this one. Camera has a lot of options you can play with and i use Editing for Cropping pictures.
Video is AMAZING ang clear in MP4 format but then it eats a lot of memory!!!! a 5 secong clip in MP$ format will eat 400KB!!! 3gp is like the ones found in other Series 60 phones.
Keypad is Big this phone is for big hands and mostly for Guys you have to workout your thumb in reaching out far keys. Holding the phone in your hand is a bit HEAVY and uncomfortable because of the barrel at the back but its OK.
The camera lens gets dirty most of the time my index finger (when i hold the phone) will make contact with it and hets smudged but its OK again...
When flipped closed, the phone is BIG... with small screen. Good thing here is you can place a wallpaper with time and date. the nice thing here is GIF files can be used as wall papers!!! Entertaining..
Music Player? Yes it has a nice MP3 player BUT, the battery life is poor so no good. With intensive used at the highest brightness level it only lasts for 7 hours for me!!!! the TECHNIQUE here is bring the the brightness one lever lower from the maximum ok?
SPEAKER? sounds like a cheap radio. bass elements are heard but not that much but its really LOUD!
Speaker is much better than 7650 3650 7610 6630 and P900 and K750 or W800
but nobody beats Nokia 7710
AUTO FOCUS? the best one, macromode is the best if u need it
When making a call your face touches the screen and if ur face is oily better buy your phone a screen protector. when my ears get in touch with the earpiece it doesnt feel comfortable to
DICTAPHONE? one thing that surprised is dictaphone. its not perfect but it reads back everything that you say, from profiles, to applications, to phonebook it will pull it up... ENTERTAINING AND AMAZING hehehhe
Memory? kinda slow when your pulling the gallery. from my personal opinion when it pulls out the gallery it pulls every thing from pictures and videos and it loads up the thumbnail. if you have like 100 pictures and some videos it will take 12 seconds or more to pull up the thumbnails of the first batch (i heard N70 is slower!)
------- i wish when you pull out the pictures gallery, folders will show up depending where you organized your pictures therefore it wouldnt pull out all the pictures in the memory thus, gallery will be much faster.
------- gallery confuses me because it doesnt sort out the pictures that ived organized immediately, you have to manually organize them into albums. i wish albums would pull out first
KEYPAD? i have a problem with the keypad, the base layer (under the keys) they scratch easily and the backlight would passthrough... yuck.. just have to be careful with it.
the screen outside the flip records your fingerprints too which is kind of annoying and even the silver plates at the side of the phone are smudged with fingerprints too
the camera barrel when twisted easily activates the camera accidentally and opening the phone requires 2 hands. i open the phone with one hand half way and with the help of my head to finish opening the phone which looks ridiculous.
This is not the phone for everyone.
its expensive, techy, poor battery bulgy etc. BUT I LOVE IT.

The N90 has the poorest quality (“lemon” to be more appropriate) of any product that I have ever paid such amount for, close to $750. It did not work from day one and I made the mistake of trusting NokiaUSA’s support center. As per worldelectronicsusa.com’s suggestion (where I bought it from), Nokia asked me to sent it to Nokia’s Arvato, Florida repair facility. After 2 week’s, I had to chase it for status and then they could not locate the phone for 3 days (with all sorts of “street” excuse). Supposedly, the issue then got escalated to “Office of Executive” support (sound big, doesn’t it?). Which did locate the phone and send it back, stating that they can not fix the phone and warrantee is not valid in the USA and a very “intelligent” recommendation, i.e., to send the phone to a repair center in a country where Nokia’s warrantee is covered. Obviously, I called worldelectronicsusa.com back but no “honest” response there. Now, I am dealing with credit card company to get my money back.
If I knew of Nokia’s deceptive practice and “nickel and dime” street business model, I would have stayed away from spending that kind of money. If you need more details, send me email and I can help you to stay away from making decision with such a poor quality product and a company sounds like doing business in “south of the border”.

OK From what I've been told the reason they took out the virbrate, could be because it could mess up the camera lense!
Also word from my Manager at Carphone Warehouse is that we won't be doing this phone anymore as no UK network has picked up the phone! So if your waiting to get one, your best up either looking for a new phone, or checking with your network provider to see if they have a release date for it!

frankly, N90 is the advance version of 7610 except the body construstion is different.
