this i fantasic phone except for the annoying buzzing u get wen u turn the camera on. the vibrate does not work, the phone freezes up every 5 seconds. the swivel joints needs oiling every so often. half of my electicity bill is spent charging up this telephone box. however the flash replaces the need for light in my house... actually the whole street come to that matter. i heared the camera was ment to be 22 mp camera.... very disapointed wen it turned out to be 2!!!!! mp. part from that i love this badboy.

Some buy for style, others for usability,i.e satisfaction of needs.Based on need,I researched, then bought the Nokia N 90. To date,I am thoroughly satisfied. The N 90 is a performer, period.Positive technology by Nokia. To bad Moto didnt keep faith with the potentially great mpx 300 There loss is Nokia's gain.

CONS
- It scratches easily. Dropped it once [height: waist down.] and the camera jutted out.
- It restarts every now and then, for reasons I don't understand. Also, when you restart, it goes to default profile and camera settings.
- I have two sim cards and when I switch, it has this annoying thing wherein it stays in offline mode until I remove the battery before restarting.
- Not having vibration isn't all that bad-- since it's so big that you can't make it fit into your pocket, you're going to have to put it in your bag anyway. Problem is though, speakers are kind of weird [not to mention weirdly placed.], so sometimes it's loud, sometimes it's not, sometimes the sound quality is excellent, sometimes it sucks.
- I don't find the interface to be slow, though it takes a bit to view newly taken pictures-- but it's mostly because my memory card's full.
- I admit that I didn't really know what to look for in a phone before buying this, because my last one was a Nokia 3120 and I didn't really think that I had anything in specific in mind. I basically went for it because I loved the twisty thing, the supposedly phenomenal picture quality, the 3G and its Bluetooth. It's pretty rich in features though, and all I really want from it is infrared.
- About the camera... it's an okay camera. The pictures come out better than other camera phones's on a PC, but not so much better. Resize them, because they look better smaller. Also, the pictures come out blurry a lot, or the flash is too bright. Sometimes you just can't find the right setting.
PROS
- The twistyness. Really, it's great.
- The display on the outside. During meetings or whatnot, I usually read my messages through it. When I'm too lazy to hold the phone, I put the call on loudspeaker and close the phone. It's pretty helpful.
- You can take pictures even if its closed-- though the quality is like 95% horrifying.
- The keys aren't hard to manipulate.
- It responds fairly well.
- Mine came with a 128MB memory card.
- You can't not love it. No, really, you can't. I really want the N92 because of its better features, or the N70 because of its two cameras... but I'm sticking with my N90. I really wish it were smaller though, like a Samsung.
OTHER COMMENTS
- features include voice recorder, converter, calculator, Korean [I think.] dictionary, Quicksheet, Quickword, Quickpoint, Info Print, Adobe PDF, Notes, a small number of games, imaging tools... it's all good.

Rich,
I think it's possible that you got yourself a pirated N90 which is extremely cheap without warranty so why complain bout it when you bought it @ such a low price.. You gotta pay more if you need something better..

What you people are writing is another example of how stupid some of you are. You see a new phone, and think, wow i want it!! You then wait to see what some people say, then agree. The thing is with this phone, and all of the N-seris i've had the misfortune to use, the OS is horrible, really really horrible, its just so slow! I used a N90 for 3 days, it crashed every day at least once.

When I bought the n90 I checked that it had all the features I needed, so why complain later about size, weight and no vibration. Do some people just hand over money for nothing and not know what their buying. [ strange world ]Great phone , buy from a reputable dealer.

I also agree with that person that said that everybody is bad talking about this phone, it does all that it's specifications sais. About watching the tv it is true, and yes u can whatch TV on your phone i'm from Romania and here we receive a single tv station and the quality is more than acceptable, where the 3G covers. As i've been saing before i use this SMARTPHONE i like to think at it's full capacity (voice call, video call, email through pop3, photo, and video), yes sometimes it gets stock, but overall it is the best of i've had or seen. A real masterpiece. Good job Nokia!
