to peds i agree with you in some respect,,3g are allways big phones yet all of a sudden samsung come out with the z500??? so how long have they known about this,, we dont know do we??? was it a ploy at the start to gradually reduce phone sizes to make people gasp at what they can now do??they never get it right do they its to keep the buisness going by just leaving out 1 item on a phone or making 1 part of it rubbish.they do reduce size of electronic bit by bit i know but from brick size to one of the smallest devices on the market is well sinister to me

when will cellphone manufacturer ever make that perfect phone, like a 5 megapixel camera, with a capabilty of dvd video recording, a 3 gigabyte memory,
a good battery life,a better sound quality, but of course the product must be just a small like the current product,it seems these manufaturers are just making there product to slowly evolve just to make much money from the consumers, these technology has already been existing but they are just slowly incorporating it to the pruducts.

Yo Bryann: I am from NZ and i am not to sure about sim free and all that?? in NZ, we have only 2 networks Telecom NZ (CDMA/EVDO) and Vodafone NZ (GSM/UMTS) and all our phones come fully unlocked, we can get a contracts up to 36 months but they still dont lock the phone at all. Soooo, it all depends how you want to use ya phone, dont buy the 903 and use it on a netwotk other than Vodafone as you wont get all the 3G features like Mobile TV and 3G Music Store. So, i recomend that you buy this Sharp 903 outright and on Vodafone Pay as you go or contract free if you dont want to be tied up to anything. What ever you want to do, however i would not buy the W900i because of it's problems and not the Nokia N90, ALSO, there is no problem with ringtones as MP3's on the Euro version of the 903, most of the people on the 903 forum have the chinese version called Sharp SX833 as it was the first to be FULLY unlocked, this has ringtone locks on it. to set a DVD on the 903 it does require some changing of the file format, but if you go onto the 903 forum and ask "RENO" he will tell you how to do it, he is the 903 PRO. Emai me!! i can help ya

I bought this one few days back. Initially I was also kind of disappointed for lack of features but later it turned out to be feature rich phone! It has the best connectivity (except WLAN), best Optics/Camera functions, best body, 3G/EDGE, best display etc...Only thing is Vibration is missing which is no big deal for those who do not receive too many calls like me!

I initially thought of waiting for N92 but after comparing with N90 in terms of look and feel, I did the right thing. May be N92 has better Video/TV features but in my country to have 3G network & TV capabilities will take another century!

After comparing N71, N80 & N92 I would still go for N 90 for its build quality (I have not touched other models for sure!) and design.

Hi Bryann: i personally prefer the Sharp 903 over the SE W900i, i sold my 903 because i had the red version. You and i are in the same boat, i am looking for a new phne aswel, i am tossing up between a Sharp 903 (black euro version) or Nokia N90 or Sony Ericsson W900i, I like the Sony Ericsson Walkman software and the sound is AWESOME but i am not a fan of Sony Ericssons after my ecperience with the V800 and the V600i and W550i, so therefore i am not going to get the W900i, 2ndly Nokia N90, well Symbian totaly turns me off and reading that it hangs it'self and it's quite expencive for the features, i prefer the Nokia N70 but it is not flip. So it leaves me with the most Beautiful, Best qulity, Best features in a phone to date mobile phone, SHARP 903!!!!!! yes, you can download movie clips and you can also convert FULL Length DVD's onto this phone and watch them on FULL Wide screen with full 3D Suround sound (quite an experience) Sharp 903 only laks on volume, it is ok but you have to remember that it is suround and 3D so a bit of volume is lost, I have had 100's of phnes working in the industry and i give Sharp 903 the BEST PHONE ever made, BUT, thats just my opion on the phone. If you want style, good quality, Good camera (AMAZING pics, dosnt lag like the GX30 either) the GX30 is soo different, you wouldnt ever believe that they were made by the same people, and i like the Vodafone branding, looks cool and on the Euro version there is NO features that dont work on the phone, Email me if you want some more help, but get a 903, i can almost guarantee you that you WILL NOT be disapointed, Thanks Timmy

                                  Hi everyone,

It's been about two weeks since I bought my N90 and there is only one thing I can say WOW!!!...I think it's the best phone ever built. Although there are a few nits like no vibration and no optical zoom, but I find that these are not too serious. I think optical zoom would have been great. I also think that this phone is a bit expensive. Weight and size is not a problem for me...It's display is beautiful.

to TIMMY this is brynn here and just wondereing why you sold your 903 ,,was it just because you got bored with it or is it vodas famous crippling firmware???im between n90 ,,sharp903 and se w900i but ask this question as my dad has my sharp gx30 now and just gave him it as vodas bluetooth,,infra red ,,browser ,,video record length etc all impeded my enjoyment of the phone,,he loves it & gets great photos off it but just give him it as it was no use to me...im going for se w900i at present for its video record capabilities but would like your comments on sharp 903 video rec quality,,batt life and can i download news vids(usually 2mb length) and recieve tele on it... can i bluetooth over my videos and mp3s from my phone im using a 6680 at moment.i also d/load film trailers does the sharp 903 allow this.
The n90 has all the features but fancy a change from series 60 due to it crashing alot,, ive had a lot of hanging with all the series 60 phones ive owned and put up with it because after all these type of smarphone do this.Anyway at present have held the dummy models of sharp 903 and se w900i and there not that big but have yet to see this n90 in real life,,so would like your answers if poss timmy and see what i end up in next month or so.thanks brynn
