no vaibration when i close the phone the camera still working and that make the battery run out, good camera ,cood video pic ,not worth buying

well i just bought that phone, and being honest with u guys i dont like it. It s a great camera, but not a great phone.Way too big, all buttons in unusefull position, but pic and video great, I just put it on ebay, will sell for 600. Think gonna get 6270 or n70, right now i m a user of 6670, and i like it.

i got N90

no vibration

i saw N80 proto

and put it this way
i will buy N80

N 80 camara is amazing and also the N80 is so small i couldnt belive it

my N90 is reallly buggy im on the phone and sometimes it goes loud speaker
N80 all the Way but N80 will b costly looking at about 800 - 1000 US $ i think
since its 3 Megapix
but amazing

Can someone please honestly tell me if this phone does not have vibration? i refuse to believe that nokia is stupid enough to make a phone without vibration. thnx!

N90 or N80?
I like the N80 but not sure when it's coming out, should I wait or get the N90, i was originally gonna get the N90 but was not sure cuz of the size, it looks huge and bulky, is it?

timmy the video call shud work by turning the camera and screen to face u and then follow instructions 4 video call. i saw this fone last week at work and gettin 2moz hope it lives up to its rep :D

Hi Dan, How do ya go about a Video call?? I had a Sharp 903 and it was THE BEST mobile phone EVER, i am not sure why i sold it!! So, do you think this will live up to my 903?? Thanks Timmy

One of the best phones from Nokia! It's very expensive here in Romania, knowing that the minimum salary is about 100$!!! If you can afford one then you're insane (459$!!!). It's not that much, if you count all of the technologies, but it's not just a mobile phone!!! It's absolutley fabulous!!!

Hey, I just bought the nokia n90 here in the US for T-mobile service. I have had the phone for about a week and it is great! The pictures are amazing. The programs on the phone are great as well. You can create movies with your pictures and videos on your phone with ease with templates and music and then transfer them to you computer to share with friends. I have not had a chance to use the video calling yet since t-mobile does not support that function yet. But I cant wait to give that a try. I have not had any problems with this phone yet. It has been great.

Hi, I have a Sharp 903 that i have just sold, it was the BEST phone that i have ever had, I am looking to get a Nokia N90, What do you all think?? Is it worth the money?? Are the fratures good?? are there many faults and if there is... What?

I'm getting this phone soon, but i'm stuck with N92 and this phone. Although N92 is not out yet but i'm assured that N92's functions is better den N90. As for the price, i still think N90 is more reasonable and reachable for most families.

To KMCQ,
Dont buy 6270! You'll definitely regret! My friend bought it & he sold it off for 50% the original price & bought another N90. It's quite hard to explain tho.. The 6270 is obviously not better than the N90

O.K., I’m ready to give my opinion of the Nokia N90. The short version is…the N90 Rocks!!! I purchased the phone from Ritz Camera for $399 with T-Mobile service. Display quality is fantastic on both screens. Resolution is closer to a high res computer LCD screen or a Pocket PC than that of a cell phone. The (horizontal) shortcut icons on the display can be changed to access a function you use on a frequent basis. For example, I like to check my phone logs. Using the N90 factory sets you must select...Menu>My Own>enter>Log>enter…in between the main selections you must use the 4-way rocker key to navigate to the desired selection. A one time setup as follows placed the “Log” function as a shortcut icon on my display.…Menu>Tools>enter>Settings>enter>Phone>enter>Standby>enter>Active Standby Apps>enter…from here choose the shortcut you want to modify…select the new shortcut and set it!!! When you return to the display you will see your new shortcut in place of the old one. I performed the same substitution for the top left “soft key” to reflect “Bluetooth” instead of “Gallery” when the display is first opened to allow quick access to Bluetooth services. Voice quality on the N90 is excellent via handset, speaker and Jabra BT250 and JX10 Bluetooth headsets. Voice Command (VC) is simple and easy to use. Setup your contacts…speak the name of the person you want to call and the N90 will dial the default number you have set for that individual. The speaker phone is activated automatically when using VC on the N90 when it’s closed. The N90 does not rely on exact voice recognition so there’s no learning involved. While VC on the N90 is not as flexible as Microsoft’s VC program; it’s the best I’ve used as part of a software bundle on a phone. Pictures taken on the N90 are great for a 2 MP camera. There are many adjustments you can make if you intend to use the N90 as PS camera. When printing via Bluetooth I learned its better to use the “send” option and allow the printer to store the data in its memory thus allowing the printer to output to the specified format of 4x6. If you use the “direct print” option via Bluetooth the output is a 3x4 image (or the native resolution of the N90 camera). The video clip function worked well also. Motion was a little jittery on playback of rapid hand movements (waving) made by a subject. But for what the N90 does when taking pictures or video clips it does it quite well. Remember, the N90 is neither a 4 MP camera nor a dedicated camcorder. Synchronization of Outlook (calendar, contacts, etc) was the same as with my handheld...flawless. Appointments and Tasks appear on the lower portion of the main screen. Reminders sound when an appointment or task is due...cool. I hate cables and try to avoid them whenever possible…so yes, I set the N90 to sync via Bluetooth…works perfectly. Transferring documents to the N90 is easy using either PC Suite or right-clicking a file on your computer and selecting “send to” phone (N90). The latter option will send the document as a message and you can decide where you want to store it either in phone or card memory. The document I used was a PDF. Once again I performed the operation via Bluetooth. Music? Yes you can store music files on the N90. I sent a 5 minute CD track to the N90 from my computer. For this procedure I used the USB connection. The N90 made the necessary file conversions so I could play it back via RealPlayer installed on the N90. I also converted the track to a ring-tone (or rather the N90 did it for me). Internet browsing was easy. The hardest part was typing and storing the bookmarks. I’m not a big internet browser via a phone especially since it’s a WAP protocol. But,… it will work…for those who like that feature. The manual could be a bit more user friendly. For instance the section on Voice Commands appears on page 100. But, Voice Dialing (let’s be specific) instructions are on page 20. Go figure??? Battery life is not great but it’s not the worst I’ve experienced. It doesn’t have an FM radio like the Sony Ericcson K750i. It’s not as thin as a Motorola Razr V3. But who out there manufacturers the perfect phone that’s going to please everyone?? For my money today this is the Best Buy!!!

I got a N90 a few weeks ago and while it is a pretty phone and is a model that starts showing the direction the phones of the future will be, I regret to say that still is a phone with software and hardware problems.

The software hangs up the phone more times that one would like to see. The PCSuite does not work under Windows XP64. The camera lens is really great but the sensor yields a lot of electronic noise in the image if it has not been taken in very favourable conditions. The battery falls really short even when the phone is used **normally**, it is a must having a battery replacement, although is a hassle not having a battery charger separated from the phone. I´m not decided to change it yet but I would not give this phone more than a 6 out of 10 possible.
