First I want tnx junrey for attn, and I would like to post my review for N 90 because I got myself one on November 10th. Let me tell u that I use it normally, I use it for about 50 min -70 min vocal calls a day, I purchased also a BT headset, I check my office mail and use the office applications. On different occasions I use it for taking pictures. The battery lasts about 3 days or less. I haven’t been spared of the bugs like other were describing and the most stupid that occurred was when taking photos the phone was making specific sound of picture taking, then showing the preview and after a few other photos it blocked on the blue screen and had to restart, and surprise no pictures at all. I have to say that sometimes the signal drops, before this phone I had a 6310 I and a 6610i and with those never happened that. I also get that message of lack of memory even thou there was enough space to make a 5 minutes video. I also don’t like the way the office shows the word files, try receiving by mail as an attachment or any other way a table in word format, u will be surprised about the result. How about those spaces in mails that occur from I don’t know were. All in all I’m pretty satisfied with my N90.
Happy new year! U ALL.

oh and anyone ever use this phone as a full mp3 player? (maybe not due to battery though ^_^) i use my K750 and it can hold to play mp3 for 7-8 hours, so basically i can use it to listen to music everyday in my spare time.

hmm... i found so many ppl talking about the video recording quality, camera and its function as a symbian phone... does anyone actually has ever compare the quality of the mp3 with Ipod? just wondering though.. just as information.. K750 is confirmed to have a better quality than Ipod mini and equal to Ipod nano. Is that the same for N90?

Got my N90 nou for 29 days after I replaced my trusty 6600.
Was very impresed with the 6600 but the N90 for me just full of problems.
From the start I had low, very low reception compared with the 6600. Droped a lot of calls, so much that I switched back to the 6600 to make a call.
After 6 days the front screen switched off.
Almost like windows, had to switch off and back on to get to work again. This happens every other day.
Then the freezing up started and to my suprise out of memory message with a fone with hardly any thing on.
Again, switch of and on to get it back to work.
Could this be firmware ??
At the moment I need to switch of and back on every 2 days till a repair senter open again to help me..
And at the moment, I'm looking again at the out of memory message.
I compared foto's, for myself, N90 to the SonyEricsson W800.
W800 came out tops. If Carl Zeiss Optics are so great, then the camera must be of low quality, because together they dont come close to the W800.
Try take pictures of red objects.
Nokia 6600 full marks
Nokia N90, hope it's just a dud that I got.
W800-SonyEricsson > great phone, did'nt I pick one ?

does the anti virus installed in the phone memory or memory card? (as i know, usually, anti virus software usually being automatically installed in the phone memory) You should use programs like "FExplorer" program which will allow you to browse hidden files on your phone memory, ram, and memory card.

I have a little bit of a problem i have installed a trial version of karspersky anti virus on my n90, and i'm tring to remove it by uninstalling but guess what no such an option. I ve tried using the pc suite and again the application doesn't seem to find any app installed on my phone. I want to say that i do not want to remove it by deleting it brutally so if somebody could help, i would really appreciate. TNX

Just git it for Xmas and I adore it. Although there are some down sides, such as size, lack of Vibration, and a supposedly short battery life, the upsides far outweigh the negatives. I had been wondering whether to get this phone or not for months, and I'm glad I have it now. The size is not as issue to me as my previous phone was a Nokia 6620, which has 99% the same dimensions as this, therefore this was a tremendous upgrade over the previous phone without any problems with me.
Having said that, the 2MP camera is stunning. Pictures are vivid and highly detailed, especially in macro mode. There are lots of options for picture/video taking to fine tune the settings to your tastes. Sure the K750i has a SLIGHTLY (and I emphasize SLIGHTLY) better camera in SOME situations, but the video capabilities of this phone are remarkable. Videos are in a decent resolution with VERY minimal pixelation. The microphone on the device is extremely good, it records sound with the utmost clarity and depth. See the sample video near the bottom. Despite what you may have read on CNet or elsehwere, the video is not choppy at all. Perhaps the phones lent to testers were still prototypes and not the final products. The loudspeaker on the device is exceptionally loud, it's actually useful!
The major thing that sets this phone apart are its unique yet highly ergonomic design (I have yet to use a more user friendly phone with a massive array of features like the N90); exceptional video quality (no phone on the market can touch it's video); razor shapr LCD display. Sure some say the N70 is better because of FM/Vibration, but I used Vibrate on my old phones maybe a few times, I tend to use Silent mode instead. If I don't want to be bothered with a ringer, I don't want to be bothered at all so Silent is the mode for me over Vibrate. i have an MP3 player with FM radio, and I honestly, how often do people actually use the FM Radio? I've used it maybe a maximum 3 times...
Having said that, the N90's designers really put major thought into this device. Every single feature is tailored to be completely user friendly with lots of buttons here and there to make operation of this phone a breeze. It has to be tried out in person to understand just how amazing the design of this phone is.
Sure it might be big and heavy for you, but for me it was no different than my previous 6620 at all (in terms of size and weight, the two are nearly identical).
To me, it was all smiles as everything the N90 had to offer was far superior than my previous phone and better than its competitors. It's twist design was a major attraction over the N70/K750i/W800. Simply put, I personally do not like the N70's design, its far too bland and boring, it's a simple candy bar phone - nothing different from the norm.
The N90 was a total succes in my opinion. If you are considering of purchasing this amazing phone, I highly recommend that you do. You will definetley not regret it, that I can assure you.

ok well i bought the N90 and yes i was suprised to find it does not have vibrate alert, BUT. the upside is. it is an open Symbian phone so you can install programs and games and extend the usefulness of the phone beyond what nokia intended. it has a great quality 2MP camera with propped auto focus and it takes great MP4 motion video with sound. i was looking at some MP4 video cameras on the market and this phone does a better job, and its just a phone. so as far as im concerned. for a price of only $13 per month. i got a very capable phone. a descent quality camera that i will always have with me, and a pretty good digital video camera that also i will have with me everywhere i go. as far as im concerned its a pretty sweet deal.. oh and yeah. the phone just looks great. thats mu opinion.. thanks

Bought the N90 and I love it. Not a problem, except for I cant find if it is possible to increase the font size when writing SMS's and how in contacts do I get the name AND the number to appear at the same time when searching, standard stuff on the cheapest of phones.

Save high quality video on a cellphone? How abt the sound too? PC viewable? More storage space. Any editing would be minor. Maybe Adobe can create Photoshop Mobile before someone else takes cellphone pic editing?
