apparently the N90 has no vibration because of the camera stuff being so intricate and the small vibrating could ruin it

I was thinking to buy this overpriced phone,
so i ve compared pics from this phone,
            mine 9nokia 6680) and SE K750,
i couldnt believe K750 would win us but the tests are true,
sadly the Carl Zeis lens and huge dimensions arent sufficient to make the best camera phone...
Se won again,i think i will go for 3mp sharp but i cant find anyone to test...

many softs promised to give a higher frame rate, almost none suceeded,
it dont have to be as good as W900 just 20 would be enough,
but i m afraid there isnt much hope...

I recently bought the phone, and of course I was hesitating a bit because of the size and battery shortage i read about. however after using it for a few weeks, i'm really happy with it. I had many phones before, and to be honest the first time I feel that it is a very solid phone, with proper syncronization software package, good camera, great handling and nice feel in my hand. The size do not matter anymore, in fact I started to love this brick very much (wierd!). The call quaility is great as well, a perfect speaker phone. Sits nicely on the desk. So if you are a techgizmo like me I can recommend this phone to you. Lifeblog is a great software too, so be sure to download it (free w N90).

Is it true tat n90's next firmware can improve e cam quality? In terms of both still fotos n video though e video is at high end now? Is there any chances of improving e video 15fps to -> 30fps as tat found in W900i?

it has tempting features... 2 mp camera, flash etc.. but "still" expensive.. it's a great phone but a little too big.. but if i get the chance to buy it, i won't hesitate..

Why you keep saying this phone is so bad.
It's pricey, I know, but it is for sure far above the average.
For the moment it has the best screen, and the best camera, even if the photo algorithm can still be improved (just wait till the next firmware), it is Symbian s60 too and I think it also looks very nice (so moving and swivelling).
If you have small pockets and if you can't hear sounds it's only a problem of yours.
P.S. And please don't say it is slow, as it takes only half a second more than N70 and performs 4 times the graphical work.

I bought the N90 about 1 week ago, and i have noticed that the photos that i have taken end up with a purple tinge...just like the photos in the N90 vs W800 page...great video though. PS the operating system is a bit slow, reacts about 1 sec after a button press...and just a huge gripe: NOKIA, WHERES THE VIBRATION U TWATS? peace

I've got an N90 and the operation system is not slow. The pictures look great and the phone is not as big as some people make out.

This fone may look descent, but i must say that it does not make-up for the fact that it is 178GRAMS, heavier than any other Nokia fone (or any other brands that i know of), its the same size as a PDA, possibly even bigger...+ just to cap that off: its got a very s-l-o-w operation, the pictures tend to come out slightly purple and there is NO VIBRATION! AVOID THE N90 IF U CAN

Looks a stunning phone, Nokia producing the kind of excellence that we come to expect from them, but NO vibration? That means the deaf community are excluded en masse - and those who keep the phone on silent at work and use vibration to tell when a new sms has arrived. Shame on you Nokia!

I still dont understand why the phone doesnt have vibration. The camera is nice but should be improved on newer models.

Hi i just called up nokia, because i have read a few reveiew about the phone having a slow operation, they said that is impossible because the phone is one of the latest and fitted in the the latest and best products.
Is it true it takes time?
