Dont really have a comment but more a few questions.
Can this phone open and edit WORD, EXCEL and PDF files?
In regards to sending and receiving e-mail, is it something like the interface of the TREO 650?

pardon me...i really wonder why so many pple always like nokia so much?i got the phone for only 2 days....and really find that it is a crappy phone...fyi...i am not anti nokia fan...but a phone player....
pros:it is smart phone,as it supports symbian v8.1
huge screen
good video recording
average 2MP camera only
cons:though huge screen,but small fonts...
too huge to hold and carry, very uncomfortable to hold and film a video shot
too expensive
no vibration
below par performance for camera shot
3g connection not so stable though
battery life don't last long for chatting
average music player
conclusion:why pay so much for such a phone...as sharp had just launch a 3.2Mp camera 3G phone...as the price is way below nokia...it is not worth to spend so much...it is not a act of class but just foolish to spend so much on a average phone
p/s:pardon me if i offend those people who use the phone,i am just stating the fact.thanks

is this phone really doesn't have vibration? i am still a student in a secondary school. there's a rule in our school that we should keep our phone in silent mode.i really love this phone because it's huge. but, if there's no vibration, it will bring a big trouble when i bring it to school. by the way, where can i get the themes? please help me to solve this!

Thanks kelv, but I can't access to your blog.
It says that the address is not valid. Maybe it's only a temporary problem.
However my problem about the phone is not with the absence of 3G signal.
The problem should be with the connection settings.
Thanks anyway.
If somebody has this phone, or if he know what should I do, please help me!

to nick and SE supporter
if you want to compare btw W800 and N90, pls don't do it here. Just say the opinion about N90 and thats about it. Even my fren who used to be nokia freak complaining about the size "its sooo HUUGGE" thats wat she said.
no hard feelings, just an opinion.

Wobuffet, I would like to hereby clarify your doubts over the network confusion which you are experiencing at the current moment.
Firstly, do check if your N90 is in dual mode. If it's in single mode either for UMTS or GSM selection, there won't be any signal detected at all if you experience blind spots respectively.
The reason why your phone has been displaying GPRS is most probably due to your home network not supporting UMTS in that specific location that you are in currently.
At the same time, many people really have the misconception that 3G is different from GPRS. I would like to say that 3G makes use of the present GPRS module, only that higher speeds are used.
As such, when connected to GPRS, you would see the standard "=" sign below the signal display.
Only when UMTS is detected, there would be an additional 3G display above that "=" sign.
Putting your phone in dual mode would mean that the phone would adapt to and from the two different detected signals.
Hope I've been of help to you.
In any case, do post your queries at my blog, www.kel88.blogspot as I check in there more frequently.

To Saviour: I checked that website out and i clicked buy it now on the N90 where it asks for your credit card information.. I looked at the bottom of the page and there was no "SSL 128-bit"(secure website)Icon. So I believe this website is real but you may be risking something by transferring your personal information on a non-secure website.

There are phones with 3MP cameras on them, and they cost half as much. I don't get why this phone is so expensive.

@ Robbie:
As you can browse TV, can you please post me your settings for the wap portal. Even if you aren't Vodafone I could compare your settings to mine and find if there is an error

@ Akina:
Thanks for your post.
Actually I don't know if the problem is with the network or with the phone.
I dialled Vodafone customer care and I said that I set the phone with the settings pre-installed by Nokia. Those ones are the same settings suggested by Vodafone website for the 6680 model as the software menu is practically the same.
The operator told me that the problem should be with their network, which doesn't recognise yet N90(as it is a new model) for the acces to 3G services.
After the experience of setting the e-mail on my previous phone I don't trust very much Vodafone operators (I called them about 30 times and only one of them had been able to help me...)
Which is your opinion about my problem?
Answer me, plzzzzzzzzzz, thanks!

Wobuffet,
You're making me confuse.. So bout the portal thingy. The problem lies on your network or the phone itself? Does it mean other networks will be in GPRS version too?

To SE Supporter,
W800 do not stand a chance in compare with N90.W800's video quality suck,it records in old 3gp mode instead of N90's mp4.It also need a video call stand to do video calls.W800's camera only has 4x instead of N90's 20x.And finaly, the most important,W800 is Not a smartphone. N90 has a symbian 8.1

I think you misunderstood the problem.
The phone is 3G, it works well with 3G network and performs also videocall very well. The problem is that the wap portal of the network, if browsed with this phone is in GPRS version (no tv and songs in the Vodafone homepage)
I'd like to know if I should wait, as Vodafone said me, for the network settings upload, or if it's only a problem with the settings of the phone.
Please, help me if you can, thanks.
