Stop all the rubbish of comparing N90 with
    SE k750/w800

If u wanna compare.. the only thing u can
    compare is the camera..
And reviews clearly show that K750/w800 has
    a better camera than n90..

Comparing the other specs is comparing
    a cat and a dog..
The operating system is already different.
So comparing the others is stupid and waste
    of time..

And n90 boasts on the camera so that they
get humilated more when k750 was released so much earlier

hi guys! just saw Nokia N90's price yesterday here in the Philippines, the price is PhP39,990.00 (Nokia Store, not operator locked (not bundled with monthly plans/contract) [approximately around $710.00! Whew!]. I thought the price would be the same or higher as Nokia 8800.. coz ya know overall it's better (except N90 doesn't have a radio [unless your operator supports visual radio], and of course symbian OS plus 2MP carl zeiss optics, etc.. By d way Nokia 8800's price here is about $950.00! :j

      > Does it mean that the N90 is actually way cheaper than the Nokia 8800? In that case, I really agree that those who buy 8800 are dumbbells.. 8800 is expensive just because of the rotten steel cover.. as for N90 the functions are better in terms of having a secondary storage + its a 3g n a smartphone..

Hey, let's not argue. What I notice is 95% of the people conclude that the SE K750 or W800 are better phones compare to this N90.
        Statistic already gave the answer!

it dosent matter if the n90 dosent have vibration ,,thats a thing u dont need ,,if u reconize ur ring tone,,
silent mode just check the phone if it is so important to know if u got a message or something ,,YOU CANT COMPARE THE N90 TO THE K750 OR W800,,N90 IS THE BETTER PHONE ,,
the camera its not that big diffrent on the phones ...n90 has symbian os edge 3g 2 screens thats something none of the se phones have ....i have tried the se phones because they came out a while ago in sweden ,im from there

Sony has been using Carl Zeiss Tessar (Tessar is top quality from Carl Zeiss) lens in their digital cameras for a long, long time ... but the out come is always terrible!!!
Everytime I pick up the develpoed pictures from the photo shop, the picture colour is always too orange or red; whatever youcall it.
Conclusion:- Carl Zeiss Tessar do not necessary mean good quality ... just the name, only for marketing purpose!!!

Carl Zeiss , Carl Zeiss, Carl zeiss!

I'm tired of you kids keep talking about me like I'm something worth of talking about!
DON'T YOU HAVE some brains and do more research about me? And of course I don't cost $500 ( Nokia n90 is by $500 more expensive than Sony k750, by $400 more than Sharp 902, and by $300 more than
                  Xcute dv1).

FIRST OF ALL, even Sony digital Cameras, that put me inside of them, aren't of the best quality! My best German friend Leica who is being used by Panasonic in their cameras, is much better than me in quality.

Secondly, my girlfriend Nokia, has never produced regular digital cameras in her entire life. I like my girlfirend, but how are you expecting to produce a good camera phone already if she hasn't produced regular cameras yet?

So my advise to you guys:
My Girlfriend Nokia N90 is very pretty
(top class model!), and therefore she is for upscale clients only!
Everage client must wait 2-3 years, untill
my friends Panasonic and Leica produce high quality Digital Camera/Phones, and my girlfiend Nokia will then copy their technology into its own camera/phones. Only then, my Girlfriend will have high class camera inside the phone ( or phone inside the camera?).

to sonners (put his comment on 11-8-2005)

i know that Nokia N90 is a smartphone, look, i am a SE fan but i used to use nokia before. You are absolutely right that W800 is onli a plain phone and do not have a rich functionality. But i disagree with you saying that those who buy W800 are cheated just because SE bundled it with 512 MB memory. I heard that there is a rumour that by next year Sony will release duo card with 32 GB capacity and that will compatible with W800, i don't know whether this is correct or not but even so, wat is more important is actually the quality of the mp3 sound itself. If you have such a big memory for music, what are you goin to put inside? are you goin to listen to 1000 songs within a day? i am a music student but i do not do so. So wats wrong with 512MB memory? u can store like 100 music, and if you don't like it you just simply transfer a new one.. wats the point of having an USB? BTW, N90 not worth its price.. with the price of $1000 dolars i would rather to get a laptop with 200-300 dolars more. The same goes with nokia 8800, only stupid people who want to look elegant who want to get such a phone (no memory card? camera only SVGA yet with a laptop price?)

big shame on nokia N90... got the EISA award and claim themselves a phone with Carl Zeiss optic which means that this phone is supposed to be superb in the multimedia area but cannot win vs W800 that is not even focussing on camera because W800 objective is to be a music phone.

guys i tried n90 today and se k750i and w800. i finally conclude that sew800 and 750i is the better choice. the camera resolution is almost the same as well as the video. n90 is cool in terms of application since its a smart phone and 3g capable but the spped is very poor as well as the sound quality. se sound is excellent and much faster than n90...so dont waste your money nor regrests later buy sek750i or w800i.goodbye!

                                about the price:

i dont wanna sound rude to everyone but N90 with it's price is the person's status if one buys it. buying the N90 liberately isolate one person from the common. Since W800/K750 are less expensive, common people can buy them. that is from students to professionals whereas N90 is for those who can afford it and want themselves to be somewhat in "higher class" mobile enthusiast.

Regarding the EISA N90 award, congratulations to Nokia on winning this category. Congrats also SE for winning the W800/K750 on this site. both of them deserve something great.

Allright guys! I think we had enough about n90 vs k750/w800 or Nokia vs SE! The point is that indeed, n90 is a better phone (in a multimedia way)but really costs allot. On the other hand, k750/w800 are also cool phones that costs the half! So whoever can affort the price of n90 just go for it! In my opinion it worths its money. (The captured size of video in mp4 format is all the money!) But for most people, who cant affort to pay allot, and wants some very good feautures from his phone (but no the futures of a symbian phone) a k750/w800 is an excellent choice!
So conclusions are yours, both kind of phones are really good, but you cannot compare them because they belong to different classes.

                                      about the price comments:

it is definitely not the phone for poor people, (like Mercedes is not)
There is a common phenomenon - if somebody can not afford something he/she tries to "justify" thing to himself somehow. It usually takes a form of claiming that the thing he/she can not afford is not worth the money

if you ask what is symbian and what are benefits versus plain phone I will explain it to you:
the difference is the same as between PDA and a calculator - if you want calculator to be used only as a calculator it is fine, but try to "upgrade" calculator to perform something else - good luck
