@ Kelly

You're missing the point. Completely. If I want decent high-quality pictures, do you really think I would use a cell-phone? People aren't dumb you know.
If you want to carry and iPod, Camera and Phone in your pockets: Good on you. If you have a look at the Sony Cybershot DCS-7, their sensors are tiny and powerful, and that is exactly where mobile phones are heading.

It's just that in the future you will have a decent phone, camera & mp3 player in one. And for the occasional snapshot for the web ,current megapixel phones are more than suitable.

You will never catch a professional photographer with a mobile phone to take professional pictures. You will catch him though taking shots with one for all the other things like e-mail, web etc. It's just your attitude towards these things.
If you know what to do with it you'll appreciate modern technology...

It seems Nokia just want to put me off this phone. I have contacted them to get no info on it's release date in the UK. Does anyone know because I really want to upgrade my phone and I don't want too wait around forever! The price is quite worrying tho but I shud get a good deal.

Anyway if this is the best phone... I still believe in the price of a phone. The Nokia 8800 is still the most pricey... Anyway phones prices should be much more pricey because not much (lower class people) will have it...

I liked this phone the moment it was announced. After a long long time Nokia seemed to get something right. Eventhough it doesn't have Radio doesn't affect me; as you can store lots of songs in MMC slot supplied. Even the bulkiness doesn't affect. But what really puts me off from buying this phone is that it doesn't has Vibration. Many say it doesn't matter but for people going in Meetings, students vibration mode is most important.

im basing to the price of the both cellphone, so comparing to the sony ericsson k750, k750 is more cheaper, smaller yet the function is almost the same. its a hassle free phone.

What a joke has been made out of fools and kids who such desparate on megapixels, autofocuses and other crap in cellular phones. $400-$1000 for a cellular phone that
                      supously has megapixel camera?

                      Think logically!
Why do you think all of a sudden all these new so-called camera phones come out and each of them has 1.0 mp, or 1.3 mp, or 2mp censors but on the other hand almost all of them miss the most important feautures of even lowest 2mp regular digital camera. Some of these phone don't even have 256 k color screen! Other phones don't have an optical zoom. All of the phones don't have a decent battery life for a camera.

The answer is simple but only if you have half of mature brain! To produce 1.0,, 1.3, and 2.0 megapixel censors has became so easy and cheap (yes the megapixel censors of low quality are cheap! unless you are fool enough to think that any cell. phone brand will put a high quality megapixel censor into the camera than has no Optical Zoom, standard camera featers, and a decent battery of at least 1600 mah) that those companies like Sony Ericsson, Nokia and Samsung are filling the phones with those megapixel censors just to keep the price of the phones high rocking! They get all those extra thousands and millions of $$$$$ just because the consumer market is totally fooled!

So, why don't you stop throughing your money out, and instead buy yourself the best cellular phone such as Nokia 6310i or Nokia 5140. Then buy the best digital camera such as: Canon g6, or Kodak 530 ( coming up in few weeks, amaingly new style thin camera with schneider optics! and 5 megapixel, plus
30 fr/per/sec video mode ) and be a happy person!

The New camera review definately looks better than the previous one..on peice of advice for all those viewing the pictures on a 17 inch monitor on the PC at home..MOST 17'' MONITORS have a MAX resolution of 1280x1024 so the pics of the N90 which have a resol of 1600x1200 will look a bit blurred..so try lookin at them after resizing or at best fit option...I fell the video takin ability of the N90 is great..
But i would never buy the N90 because its a clamshell & is huge without Vibra..But this review is something to cheer about because,I am sure Nokia is goin to comeup with something similar in a Candybar form soon..

hmm, but u could put D600 here...

well, here's my belief : N90 - the best symbian-camera phone (with no competitor in the near and far future)
K750i - the best camera phone

GSMARENA is goin to rate n90 vs k750i soon. Someone asked why not D500. I think because D500 is not 2 megapixel camera and neither does it have autofocus. Believe it or not autofocus is the best thing in 2 megapixel camera. D500 is only 1.3 megapixel. Everyone knows the result if u compare that to k750i or n90.

I agree about the color. But my main dissapotment was about how sharpness of the photos. The outdoor photos of parks and buildings and of cars look not sharp at all
( I don't know maybe all 2megapixel digital cameras are like that. I never used a 2 mp digital camera before, so I can't say).

On the other hand, N90 took excellent photos indoors. Just look at the very first 2 photos taken by N90 indoors ( when you are in specification section of N90, click on the photo of n90 and you will see among many photos of the phone 2 photos: one of a guy standing by stereo system and another one is right next to it).

                              SO HERE IS ANOTHER QUESTION:
Do all 2mp cameras take very sharp and detailed photos indoors of a close objects? And horrible in terms of sharpness outdoor photos?

Totally agree with you here Linda. I have tried taking photos with both the 902 (actually I own one) and N90 (in a roadshow). On the tiny phone screens the quality of the photos taken by the two devices may be comparable, but once on a computer screen, 902 beats N90 in terms of exposure and color balance. Of course 902 has its share of flaws - it has a sensor that is very sensitive to even the tiniest movement (i.e. pictures get blurry easily), and its autofocus is too slow compared to the k750i. I think the order (just in terms of photo shooting abilities) of 2MP camera phones should be k750i->902->N90

I just looked at the photos taken by N90 in the most recent review by GSMarena and I don't understand what is it over there that exceeds expectation?

To me the photos taken outside by N90 are horrible. They are not even slightly better than the photos than the phtotos that were taken by the best Canon FILM CAMERA
                                  (not digital camera).

CANON G6 on the other side provides top class photos comparing to Nokia N90. I don't understan why N90 was compared to G6 (7 MEGAPIX!) instead of comparing to sony 750?

Also why haven't we seen photos from SHARP 902 or Sharp TM 200 YET? Why all the time we see only photos from Sony Ericsson and Nokia phones? We didn't even see Samsung d500 photos.

ANYONE (including GSM arena staff) can answer my questions?

ok guys.. after looking at the camera review here, who do you choose for having the best CAMERA , is it sharp 902 or Nokia N90?

For me is sharp that has won interms of the camera and picture quality
