Just to let you know. I think most people knows about this.
My only hiccough when i bought N900 from India was, i dont want put more 1500 RS for document viewer and editor. I downloaded easy debian, but open office was relatively slow with non optimized touch interface.
My all worries gone in a day; when I have installed abiword yesterday only. N900 optimized abiword is working like charm. Freoffice by koffice is not that well optimized.

Making It more clear i would like to tell that in my previous review when i say to make the properties hidden this means make the folder properties hidden by connecting to the computer while transfering the files from computer..

If you turn off GPS, wifi, blutooth and change network to 2.5G then da bat will last long. This a very powerful phone dats y the battery life goes down. Anywy great phone.

"HIDING PORN" I tell u the best way.. "Copy porn files folders or whatever u wnt to hide and while copieng them make their properties as hidden.. now download "cute explorer".. now in phones application manager u cant see those files, neither those videos will come in video playlist of media player.. In order to view them u need to go to their location through cute explorer.." no one can access those files without accessing them through cute explorer.. if u want more security then download "application locker".. it can lock ur application with password. after downloading both of them u need to open application locker then put the password then unlock cute explorer and then u can access those files. IF ANY CONFUSION, THEN LEAVE A MESSAGE HERE UNDER MY NAME... Enjoy...

It didnt work for me also after some updates but there was additional updates to rectify the yahoo problem, and it works fine again now. As late as today there was a "pidgin protocols" update.

Wanted to ask u all that i have pin code... moreok, so u didnt try so hard to find a way. =)
go to settings, scroll down to Device Lock. Change the security code to something personal (default is 12345 i think), then enable autolock. Now your fone cant be started without your personal code. and when you leave it unattended your mom cant see all your porn if you first press the powerbutton and select Secure Device =)

Hello Everyone,
Wanted to ask u all that i have pin code activated on my phone that means i dont want anyone to access my phone without entering the correct pin, but there comes an option naming "Skip". Clicking skip it directly gives access to phone, though no one can make calls without entering the pin. BUT I DON'T WANT ANYONE TO ACCESS MY PHONE WITHOUT ENTERING PIN.. How can i do that???

Guys, plz keep a backup ur phone for if something goes wrong in future, u can restore it to its previous state. Normally, people ignore th backup feature in mobile phones, but guys in this phone it works same as "system restore" feature in windows. so backup ur phone now...

Wow! Skyping with this phone is soooooooooooo awesome. Skype video quality is so loud and clear.
Skype audio call quality is excellent.
Skype chat, yahoo messenger, google talk/chat, etc work so perfect like a charm.
Although the battery life is poor, an extra battery or a mulgen BL-5J battery takes care of the problem.
I'll scream it loud. This phone is certainly the best smartphone/minicomputer ever. N900 haters, just fade!!!
